2002 Ducati MH900E #860 of 2000 with only 9 miles on it. This very rare and collectible bike has been stored since new and is in like new condition. It was just recently serviced at MotoCorsa here in Portland Oregon. The service included a new timing belt, fluids and battery. Included in the sale is the original red stand, plague showing #, 2 keys and the owners manual. 2002 DUCATI MH900e, 2002 Ducati MH900 Evoluzione 1609/2000. Single owner, purchased new from historic Munroe Motors in San Francisco. 1400 obviously babied miles and no modifications whatsoever. This MH comes with all of the original ownership documentation, both keys, and the original bespoke 1609/2000 t-shirt! The MH900 is equipped with a Fuel Injected 904cc Air Cooled 2 valve per cylinder 90* V-Twin with Desmodromic Valve Actuation. This engine is an updated version of what was in the original Monster 900 and all 900SS models. The frame, swinging arm, wheels, and all bodywork are unique to the 2,000 MH900s that were produced. There are also many billet aluminum details on this machine that are found on no other Ducati. This is a rarefied chance to own one of the most collectible Ducatis of the past 20 years. The MH900 was first built as a concept machine to commemorate Mike Hailwoods 1977 Isle of Man TT win. Subsequent interest in this machine inspired Ducati to industrialize the design and offer a limited number for sale. Interestingly, these were the first production motorcycles sold exclusively over the internet. The first 1000 motorcycles were sold in half an hour.
