I love this bike!! Have been the only owner since I bought it at Erico Motorsports in Denver in 2008. Would hold onto it forever, but just running out of space with all the kids gear, camping gear, and my other bike...Fairly low miles for this model year and in great shape. A real treat to drive in the city, on the twisties, and for long distances with it's more upright riding position. I did a week solo trip on this bike to Bryce Canyon and Zion and never got tired on it.This model was only made for 4 years, and they are becoming hard to find collector bikes.Kelley Blue Book value for the bike alone: $11,070Several extras on this bike (well over $2,500) include: Staintune Pipes (Sounds much better than stock pipes. The true Ducati sound!!)Leather Ducati PannersDucati tank coverDucati tank bag Rizoma mirrors Rizoma leversRizoma front brake fluid tank.Sad to have to part with this baby, but other life priorities are taking precedence.

For sale is a 2007 Ducati SportClassic GT1000. Ducati sold this model from 2007 -- 2010. While it harkens back to motorcycles of the 70s, it's engine and drivetrain are anything but old. It has a Desmodue 992cc air cooled engine with the Ducati Desmodromic intake\exhaust valves. It came from the factory with 91HP and is probably near 95HP or more with the Termignoni exhaust. This bike embodies what Ducati is all about. It is emotional, powerful, and has that distinctive Ducati sound. This is a raw motorcycle with only EFI helping the rider. On the road it is solid and taught, using a Ducati trellis frame similar to the one used on the Sport1000s and the Paul Smart Limited Editions. It has metal adjustable brake\clutch levers, Brembo brakes, and 12.5 inch front rotors. The chain, front, and rear sprockets were replaced at 16,550 and the rear sprocket was increased 2 teeth (from 40 to 42). This makes the gearing much more usable at speed since the stock gearing is so low. Other than the gas tank, fenders, and the side covers, this bike has very little in plastic parts. Most items are metal and everything has a solid, well-built feel. This bike has never broken down, been in an accident, or been down in any way. It has been exceptionally well taken care of, always stored indoors, always on a battery tender, and all services performed at Ducati dealers. I am the original owner and have all receipts. The 22,500 service along with new timing belts and new fork seals was just performed. This bike is in excellent mechanical and cosmetic condition. It will however need a new rear tire next season. We love this bike. In the past few years we have gotten into other activities though and the bike just hasn't been ridden much. I would much rather it be used by someone who loves and appreciates it rather than just sit in our garage.
