2008 Ducati Desmosedici D16RR, Rare Ducati Desmosedici with all the right upgrades! You want a Desmo and you want to ride it .you NEED this one. Features: Megatech Full Titanium exhaust! Very trick, very expensive, and very bad-*** Marchesini Magnesium wheel conversion: 17-inch wheels mounted with Dunlop Q-3 tires Original 7-spoke 17/16 inch wheels with Bridgestone tires mounted included Bazzaz piggyback ECU with Traction Control, multiple engine maps and Quick Shifter, (currently set in GP Shift pattern). Optional standard shift kit is available from Bazzaz, but not included EVR Slipper clutch with open clutch cover is installed. All original clutch parts are Included as well. Samco hi-flow silicon hose kit installed for optimal cooling. Vortex sprockets front and rear. Motor : This D16 has an early VIN, so it had many of the early VIN issues, including those affecting closing helper springs, pistons, and timing gear. Later model bikes, from approximately #400 forward had undated closing springs, the new pistons (1mm rings instead of .85mm rings), and a more robust timing gear. Many of these early bikes also suffered timing gear failure which could result in serious engine damage. This bike had a timing gear failure (around 3,000 miles), resulting in an engine replacement in 2010 with a new and entirely updated motor.&
