LOCAL PICK-UP ONLY - east side of Sierra Vista, AZ 2009 KLR650. Less than 6000 miles, however they were not easy miles. Set up for off road, and rode hard. Runs great, but if you are looking for something pristine, this is not your bike. This is meant to be rode hard, played hard, etc. Unlike most KLR's, this one is not afraid to leave the ground and land wheels down!! I do not have to time to ride the trails anymore and I use an ATV for hunting now, so my loss is your gain. Yes, it is dirty in the pictures - hard to keep it clean as I live on a dirt road, and ride it around the property once in a while; but it cleans up fairly well :) Decals removed, body panels definitely scratched, scuffed, etc. with front right fairing cracked/broken but functional. Will get anywhere from 28MPG to 57MPG depending on how you ride... Engine rebuilt about 1,000 miles ago with a different lower due to a crack in the crankcase, and factory plastic skid plate is back on as the aluminum plate broke its welds during the incident. Mad Max sticker on the windscreen... this thing will survive the apocalypse. Lowered 1.75 inches with sidestand cut/re-welded for new height (I am 5'6, 31" inseam and this was done to ensure I can touch the ground when stopped on some hills) Doohickey done with torsion spring (Eagle Mike did it himself at a tech day in Phoenix) 22 cent mod and KLX needle fix; carb rejetted Custom Cogent Dynamics MOAB rear shock built for lowered bike (put on about 1,000 miles ago) RaceTech Emulators and MOAB fork springs (new in box, never installed) THIS SUSPENSION SET-UP IS CLOSE TO $900 itself... After market Off-road metal foot-pegs (more secure footing) Custom rear rack to strap more stuff on. Extended gear shift lever to accommodate off-road riding boots Off-road, non-street legal rear tire currently mounted... add a true dual-sport tire and this thing is ready for pavement. Rear fender/flap cut, taillight relocated (raised to prevent hitting tire, getting abused by kicked up rocks) LED license bracket Handlebar bag Probably a few more things done to it that I do not recall. Built for fun, will take some knocks, and still get you where you want to go. I had a gun and bow rack on it - great for hunting in AZ. Box of some extra/original parts, to include crash bars from Twisted Throttle (left one is bent but could still be remounted; however, it will need new mounting hardware kit from TT); spare front tire.Clear title in hand. Once deposit is made, arrangements can be made to finish the transaction. Also for sale locally, thus the auction will be removed if sold. Available for pick-up only - remember rear tire is not street legal thus it would not be wise to ride it home (those big lugs handle horribly on pavement and can break off if heated up while riding on pavement). Contact me if you are close and want to see it/ride it.... I have a trail on the property to test ride. LOCAL PICK-UP ONLY - east side of Sierra Vista, AZ
