2017 Husqvarna FC 350, 2017 Husqvarna® FC 350 POWER AND CONTROL The FC 350 shares much of its engine and chassis architecture with the smaller FC 250 but with a maximum output of 58 hp, the FC 350 has a 450 rivalling power-to-weight ratio while keeping the light, agile handling of the 250. This is coupled with an advanced electronics package featuring launch control, switchable engine maps and traction control resulting in a versatile, high performance package. Features may include: Engine The 350 cc DOHC engine weighs in at only 27.2 kg with a maximum power output of 58 hp. The engine is specifically designed with performance, weight and mass centralisation as key areas. As a result, all shaft arrangements have been positioned to allow oscillating masses to occupy the ideal centre of gravity while all parts are engineered to offer the best performance while adding the least possible weight. Cylinder head The FC 350 features a DOHC design with polished camshafts and DLC coated finger followers. These components significantly reduce friction and improve overall performance. Added to the design are large titanium valves (36.3 mm intake and 29.1 mm exhaust) which allow the engine to rev freely to the 13,400 rpm ceiling. Cylinder and piston The 88mm bore cylinder features a large diameter and lightweight forged bridged-box-type piston produced by CP. As a result, the relatively low oscillating masses deliver exceptional power, high revs and a very wide power band. The compression ratio is 14:1. Crankshaft A perfectly balanced crankshaft is at the heart of the high output, high-reving, FC 350 engine. A plain big end bearing comprising of two force-fitted bearing shells ensure maximum reliability and durability, guaranteeing long service intervals of 100 hours. New map switch The FC 350 features a new handlebar map switch. Optimised for easy operation, the new map switch now selects between two engine maps, operates launch control and activates a new traction control feature. Traction control works by analysing throttle input from the rider and the rate at which the RPM increases. If the RPM increases too quickly, the EMS will register a loss of grip and reduce the amount of power to the rear wheel ensuring maximum traction. Engine management system The Keihin EMS is specifically designed to be smaller, lighter and faster at processing data. It integrates launch control for perfect starts, selectable engine maps as well as traction control. Additionally, via a gear sensor, the EMS selects a power delivery tailored for each gear. 44 mm throttle body The FC 350 features a 44 mm Keihin throttle body. The injector has been positioned to ensure the most efficient flow of fuel into the combustion chamber while, in an effort to ensure optimal throttle response, the throttle cable is mounted directly without a throttle l

2017 Husqvarna FC 250, 2017 Husqvarna® FC 250 RAZOR-SHARP AGILITY The 250cc DOHC engine has been designed in conjunction with the chassis to operate in perfect harmony. All internal components have been engineered to deliver the maximum performance and packaged in order to position the engine at the ideal centre of gravity within the chromoly steel frame. In combination with the carbon fibre rear subframe and new WP AER 48 front fork, the FC 250 is one of the most technologically advanced 250 4T motocrossers ever developed. Features may include: Engine All major components and shaft arrangements have been carefully designed and placed in specific positions that best suit the performance and handling characteristics of the FC 250. The 250 cc engine is not only light at 26.1 kg but also remarkably powerful with an overall power output of 46 hp at the output shaft. One way in which this was achieved was by engineering key components to produce the least amount of friction possible, reducing drag as a result. DOHC cylinder head The DOHC cylinder head features finger followers with a DLC (diamond like carbon) coating resulting in minimal friction and optimal performance. These actuate large titanium valves (32.5 mm intake, 26.5 mm exhaust) which at the 14,000 rpm rev-limit open and close multiple times each second introducing fuel/air mixture to the carefully designed combustion chamber delivering efficient and optimal power throughout the rev-range. The cylinder head is now fixed to the frame using lightweight aluminium brackets saving 114 grams while keeping the same structural integrity. Crankcases The aluminium crankcases have been designed to house the internal components of the engine in the perfect position to achieve the ideal centre of gravity. The lightweight casings are manufactured using a high-pressure die cast production process, resulting in thin wall thickness while retaining exceptional reliability. The iconic Husqvarna logo adorns the bronze finished crankcase covers. Exhaust system The FC 250 exhaust system has been expertly designed to deliver the best possible performance while adhering to the FIM noise limits. The header pipe features a resonance chambers for optimal performance while the silencer is crafted from lightweight and strong aluminium. Magura hydraulic clutch The FC 250 features a Magura hydraulic clutch system. 2015 Honda CRF 450RF, Your Trophy Awaits. There s big news for 2015: an all-new Engine Mode Select button lets you choose between three settings (Standard, Smooth, and Aggressive), just by pushing a handlebar-mounted button. It's an industry first for MX bikes, and it's going to make tuning your bike for changing track conditions a snap. With our available HRC Fuel Injection Setting Tool, it s easily adjustable to specific track conditions and refines your settings in place of the smooth and aggressive settings on the engine mode selector. Next, the CRF450R's revolutionary KYB Air Fork features new high-speed/low-speed compression and rebound damping, letting you dial in the CRF450R's suspension in much quicker. The new exhaust port header design and compact dual exhaust further enhance mass centralization. And the new head design provides more top end power and over-rev. Plus, there s stronger transmission gears, a new piston, more flywheel mass, a new rear shock that's easier to adjust and a new 260mm front brake lets you haul down all that speed with more stopping power. The list just keeps going on. Engine Mode Select Button: Huge news for 2015, and an industry first for MX bikes. Not to be confused with a launch mode selector, this handlebar-mounted button lets you dial in engine power delivery character with a push of your thumb. Choose between Standard, Smooth, and Aggressive, depending on track conditions. New Cylinder Head And Piston: The CRF450R s new cylinder head features a right-side exhaust port exit that helps the engine deliver more top-end power and over rev, plus better low-end torque feel. A new piston heat treatment adds durability, too. Revised KYB PSF Air Fork: The CRF450R's 48mm inverted KYB PSF (Pneumatic Spring Fork) air fork is even better for 2015, with new high/low-speed compression and rebound damping. It weighs less than a conventional spring fork, and adjusting the spring rate is as easy pumping air. Innovations New Cylinder Head Layout: For 2015, the exhaust header exits the head from the right side, which lets us shorten the header by 320mm. The new head design delivers more top-end power and over rev, plus better low-end torque feel. New Piston: The CRF450R's piston may look the same for 2015, but a new heat treatment improves durability--just another example of Honda engineering working to make a great bike even better. Short Twin-Muffler Exhaust System: The dual exhaust on the 2015 CRF450R features larger-diameter tail pipes and a new shorter head pipe, helping boost engine top-end horsepower. The dual exhaust system is compact and positioned close and low in the frame s center to take weight off the rear end and bring more mass to the bike s center for improved handling. Muscular Power Engine Management System: The electronic fuel injection and 44mm throttle body of the Keihin Engine Management System on the 4-stroke models, combine to offer amazing power delivery and efficiency at all engine speeds. The injector was positioned on the bottom of the inlet tract for optimal air-fuel mixture, resulting in crisp throttle response and class-leading power. Great attention was dedicated to ensuring that cleaning and washing the bike will not damage the electronics. The wire harness, lead wire, and high quality sealed critical connectors ensure that a jet wash poses no threat. The throttle position sensor (TPS) is also water resistant and protected. Engine: Technologically advanced solutions in engine layout and components ensure explosive engine performance. The lightweight and compact DOHC 4-stroke engine has been designed to offer top performance without compromise. The large titanium valves (32.5mm intake and 26.5mm exhaust) weigh only 19.6g each on the intake side and 18g on the exhaust side. DLC coated finger followers and cam shafts designed for top performance also contribute to the extreme power delivery of the 250cc engine. The handlebar mounted map switch is a standard feature and allows the rider to switch between maps while riding, adjusting power delivery and engine performance according to rider fatigue and track conditions. Crankshaft, Conrod and Piston: The high revving 250cc engine demands high-tech and reliable engine components. 2016 Husqvarna FC 250, Outstanding Handling New Frame: With years of experience in designing the most advanced steel frames in offroad, the engineers in Research and Development have designed a completely new chromium molibdenum steel frame that redefines every structural aspect in order to improve handling, ergonomics and packaging. The torsional rigidity and longitudinal stiffness have been completely rethought. The 6mm wider and 2mm lower steel tubes offer 20% more torsional rigidity and 30% less longitudinal stiffness compared to the previous generation frame design. These characteristics, matched to the new engine stays, improve handling precision while at the same time increasing bump-absorption and feeling. New CNC Machined Triple Clamps: The black-anodised CNC machined triple clamps feature a new top clamp that integrates a rubber damping system that reduces vibrations, therefore increasing comfort. The triple clamps have been meticulously designed to evenly distribute the clamping force on the fork leg, maximizing contact area for optimal sensitivity and minimum friction. Handlebar position adjustability has been maintained for MY16. New Suspension: WP s 4CS fork has a revised setup to match the new chassis characteristics of the MY16 generation motocross. As with all 4CS forks by WP, the clicker settings can be easily and quickly adjusted via the dials on the top of the fork tubes. The red dial on the right alters rebound damping, while the white dial on the left is for compression damping. A new, shorter and lighter shock by WP features a larger gas chamber designed to maintain consistent performance during use. New internal components, such as the piston and shock shaft increase setup options. A new clevis design contributes to shortening the overall length by 12 mm, while the stroke is reduced by 3 mm. The shock is completely adjustable for high and low speed compression damping as well as rebound. The rear link has been completely redesigned to match the new rear shock. 148.2 mm pull rods replace the previous link s 145 mm items and, combined with the redesigned bell crank, maintains a similar progressive rate as MY15. Rear wheel travel is now 300 mm and, thanks to the uprated rear suspension behaviour, softer springs can be used. New Carbon Fibre Subframe: The use of carbon fibre strips away weight, improving weight distribution and bringing weight closer to the centre of gravity for precise handling. The composition of the material is now 30% carbon fibre and the overall 3-piece construction is 1 kg lighter than the previous subframe, for an overall weight of 1.4 kg. It is also more compact as well as being shorter, for greatly improved ergonomics. Benchmark Engine Performance New Crankcases: The new FC 250 features a completely redesigned engine with mass-centralisation and weight reduction as the main goals. All the major components have been repositioned; the crankshaft has been raised by 6 mm while the cl
