2016 Honda CRF 250X, 2016 Honda® CRF® 250X Track Proven. Trail Ready. Skilled off-roaders seek a bike that offers an ideal balance of power and size, performance and handling. That s why we built the CRF250X. Based on our popular and podium-friendly MX racer, the CRF250X is powered by a four-stroke Unicam® engine modified for optimum off-road riding. We ve also specially tuned the suspension for the trails, and given the rugged transmission wide-ratio gearing to handle whatever conditions you come across. Then there s the electric starter that puts you on the fast track with the push of a button. So take a look at the CRF250X. We think you ll like what you see. Innovations: 18-Inch Rear Wheel 18-inch rear wheel features same lightweight rear hub and HRC works-type lightweight-aluminum spoke nipples as used on CRF250R. LED Taillight LED tail light integrated into rear fender. It s light, compact and rigid. Superior Ergonomics Placing the rider s legs at the narrowest part of the frame improves comfort and handling. Removable Subframe Removable rear subframe allows easier access to the engine and shock and simplifies maintenance. Works-Style Rear Brake HRC works-type rear brake system with a 240mm brake rotor to its integrated rear master-cylinder and fluid reservoir, a set-up that eliminates the separate reservoir and hose. Electric Starter Electric start system ensures trouble-free starting in all conditions. Electric starter also drives the clutch side of the crankshaft to provide superior lubrication to starter gears while producing a narrow engine with a short, strong crank. Renthal Handlebar Aluminum Renthal handlebar (971 bend) is rubber-mounted to help reduce rider fatigue and improve comfort. Dual Radiators Dual radiators feature a refined core area for improved heat dissipation compared with conventional dual-radiator designs. Gear-Driven Counterbalancer The Gear-Driven Counterbalancer reduces vibration and drives the water pump. Eight clutch plates provide the surface area necessary to handle the engine's massive torque, while carefully matched clutch springs provide a light feel at the lever. Twin-Sump Lubrication Twin-sump lubrication system separates the oil supply for the crankshaft, and the piston and valve train from the clutch and transmission. This ensures a cool supply of oil to the clutch, eliminates clutch and transmission material contamination of the engine oil, reduces the amount of circulating oil and permits the use of a smaller oil pump. Works-Style Front Brake Compact twin-piston front brake caliper, anodized-aluminum brake pistons and lightweight 240mm front disc offers great stopping power while minimizing unsprung weight for improved turning and handling.

2016 Honda CRF 450R, 2016 Honda® CRF® 450R Enhanced Podium Ability. Honda® s CRF® 450R is the nuclear option in the motocross wars. Light, powerful, nimble, responsive, it offers the most performance and refinement of any bike in its class. For 2016, we ve made some fine-tuning changes that make it a little better, but the big features that separate it from the pack remain. For example, there s the CRF® 450R s Engine Mode Select button that lets you choose between three settings (Standard, Smooth and Aggressive), just by pushing a handlebar-mounted button. Use that in conjunction with our available HRC Fuel Injection Setting Tool, and it s easier than ever to adjust your engine s output for specific track conditions. Next, the CRF® 450R's revolutionary KYB Air Fork features both high- and low-speed compression and rebound damping, letting you dial in the CRF® 450R's suspension in much quicker. Details like a fork that s five millimeters longer this year and a new shock link help make the CRF® 450R even more stable. There s even a new chain roller to help. All in all, you have everything you need to put you up front, from the second the start gate drops to when the checkered flag falls. Features May Include: Engine Mode Select Button Not to be confused with a launch mode selector, this handlebar-mounted button lets you dial in engine power delivery character with a push of your thumb. Choose between Standard, Smooth and Aggressive, depending on track conditions. Cylinder Head and Piston The CRF® 450R s cylinder head features a right-side exhaust port exit that helps the engine deliver more top-end power and over rev, plus better low-end torque feel. The piston s special heat treatment adds durability, too. KYB PSF Air Fork The CRF® 450R's 48mm inverted KYB PSF (Pneumatic Spring Fork) air fork is one of our 450 s best features. It weighs less than a conventional spring fork, and adjusting the spring rate is as easy pumping air. This year it s five millimeters longer too, which helps enhance the bike s stability.
2014 Honda CRF 450R, DEMO MODEL 2014 Honda® CRF®450R There is no second place. Riders and industry folk alike raved about the 2013 CRF®450R. And , we ve given them even more to love. For 2014, there s new intake and exhaust ports, a new Dual-Timing PGM-FI fuel injection setup, and redesigned muffler internals to boost torque output and increase throttle response. The CRF®450R is designed for the way riders ride today. There s more whipping. More scrubbing. So we built a bike that takes weight off the bike s ends, and concentrates mass towards the bike s center. The first thing you ll notice is our revolutionary air fork. It s nearly two pounds lighter than a conventional coil-spring fork, taking weight off the front. And now with improved oil flow, this year the fork is even more responsive, delivering even better handling. And new clutch springs to enhance lever feel. The CRF®450R also sports a compact dual exhaust, tucked closely to the frame to further enhance mass centralization. And with better exhaust flow, we ve even managed to increase horsepower. There s also our next-generation aluminum chassis, designed to help lower the center of gravity. All in all, the 2014 CRF®450R takes the best and lightest bike in its class and makes it even better. And, in doing so, plants it firmly ahead of the pack. Innovations New Air-Fork Front Suspension The air fork made waves in 2013. And we ve made it even better this year. It s a 48mm inverted KYB PSF (Pneumatic Spring Fork), easily adjustable with a simple air pump. And now with improved oil flow, it s even more responsive, keeping your front tire planted for better tracking through turns and across whoops. Works-Style Brakes The 2014 CRF®450R sports front and rear disc brakes with factory-spec master cylinders, and new rotor covers. You can wind down fast into turns, and get around the lap quicker. New Cylinderhead Porting New intake- and exhaust-port shapes work in conjunction with the new fuel-injection timing to give increased power and torque at partial throttle settings and more overrev, better suiting the CRF®450R s power delivery for most riders. Next-Generation Aluminum Frame Linking the front air fork and rear twin pipes is our Next-Gen twin spar aluminum chassis. The front spars are lower to work with the new fork. The subframe improves mass centralization. And overall, the bike has a lower center of gravity, so you get better steering feedback, suspension action and chassis stiffness and compliance. Fuel Injection PGM-FI The settings on the CRF®450R's Programmed Fuel Injection improve low- and mid-range performance, and help deliver smooth, predictable engine performance. And with our HRC® Fuel Injection Setting Tool, it s easily adjustable to specific track co
