2005 Kawasaki Ninja 250R, I wanted to take something modern and make it neo-vintage. Since the Ninja 250 is mechanically one of my favorite machines, but looks horrible aesthetically, what better bike to make over? It shed over 75lbs, cosmetically I downsized the sub frame with a tight little solo seat made from scratch and upholstered by me. Tank swap from a KZ650, with a high quality paint job, and very bright LED lights all around. The rubbers just have a few weeks of riding on them, SS front brake line attached to a big master cylinder with matching polished aluminum 6-click adjustable levers, Italian GP grips, Polished upper triple. Mechanically it has rebuilt carbs tuned perfectly to account for the K&N 2-1 filter and 2-1 titanium custom exhaust baffled by a 4" glass pack. The new tank's capacity is still useful, at about 3.4gal. The engine has less than 13k miles on it, starts, and runs flawlessly. It has a full wire tuck, new sprockets and black o-ring chain. Front sprocket is up one for lower RPM's on the highway. I just changed the oil and filter, it is 100% turn key ready to enjoy! Clean AR title in my name. You won't be disappointed with this bike. It feels smaller than stock, it is much lighter, and it is noticeably faster.
