*BIKE EXIF 'S top 5 best custom motorcycle of the week (published on Jan 29 2017)*Featured also on BikeBound, Gearheads and many others. SPECS: This is a Custom built sportbike 1/1 The whole concept behind this build was to bring simplicity to an extremely complicated bike. For starters, the braking and suspension system: Braking: The tokiko 6 piston calipers (a true nightmare if not rebuilt properly) have been taken apart, the chambers honed, pistons polished on the lathe and seals replaced, result = one finger stoppies.New wavy rotors installed in place of the old OEM ones and new pads The front forks have been rebuild with better springs and sealsIn the Rear, the over engineered rotary damper and spring (the infamous rotary damper i should say) was thrown in the trash followed by a brief celebration in the shop.I'm still wondering what Suzuki's engineers were thinking when they came up with that thing. In its place, we installed a modern fully adjustable rear shock that does the job at ¼ of the weight of the OEM setup. Frame: The OEM subframe was discarded in favor of a custom built one. GSXR Gas tank and Custom tail section: Adapting a gas tank meant to gravity feed carburetors to work with a fuel injection motorcycle wasn't exactly a piece of cake, after a few days in the work i managed to make everything work like it came from the factory. The tail section was handmade with fiberglass, gel coated and painted The whole new Gas tank / tail section setup was engineered in a way that can be taken apart without tools for a super fast maintenance. The wiring was simplified where possible, and relocated within the frame lines (between gas tank and motor) exception made for the ecu, positioned as far away as possible from heating sources. The Numbers:Originally known as an incredibly heavy sportbike228Kg /503lbs wet,Producing 135HP (120 hp of which at the wheel)with a power to weight ratio of 0.53hp/kg after the “treatment” the ALPHAMILLE finally feels like the type of bike that you can really squeeze all the potential out of. After scoring a WET weight of only 420lbs (190kg) over 80 lbs lighter than stock and a Dry weight of 390lbs (176kg) this bike now places itself amongst the lightest production sportbikes available on the market even compared to newer models. There are margins of improvements available regarding the weight. It wouldn't be too hard to get into the 400 lbs Wet by installing lighter wheels, 520 chain, removing the lower radiator. Based on the actual power to the wheel 120 hp and wet weight a stock TL1000R hada power / weight ratio = 0.52 Hp/Kg Thanks to a custom fuel mapping the motor power output increased to 125 WHP that along with the enormous weight loss we were able to achieve aNEW power / weight ratio = 0.65 Hp/Kg An outstanding 23% improvementThat's equivalent of adding 30hp at the wheel on a stock TLR The bike's loud, rumbles as you'd expect from a V-twin without cans. Up for sale is another Bexton Moto build. I wanted to build a bike that looked like the 1973 Nixon and Erv Kanemoto Kawasaki 750cc H2R and I decided to combine the build with my affinity for 300 Ninjas. So I set out to create a replica of the original bike as closely as I could using a 2014 Kawasaki EX300 Ninja (with ABS). This bike is the result. The 300 Ninja that I used as the base for this build came to me with only 54 miles on the clock, it now has about 400 miles on it. It was crashed, the sub frame was bent and all the fairings were destroyed. It has a salvage title as a result.I cut off the sub frame, straightened it out and modified it to suit the H2 replica seat. I stripped it down to the frame, made sure it was all dead straight and then powder coated it in flat black. The swing arm and all the brackets, of which there are more than 30 that are custom made, were also powder coated. This bike is very small and the clip-ons are quite low so if you are over 6 feet you will most likely be cramped riding it. I am 5’11 and it is a doable, but a tight fit for me. I have taken it on a ride of over an hour without any issues though.Below is the build list.2014 Kawasaki EX300 Ninja ABS2006 Kawasaki ZXR6 Forks, triple clamps and right brake caliper2005 Suzuki GSXR rear shockCopy of the original H2R seat in fiberglassModified Yamaha TZR250 race fairing upper and lower in fiberglassModified Kawasaki 300 Ninja gas tank with 18 gauge steel skirts welded onCustom sub frame to accommodate the narrow seatLED tail light and turn signal combinationKawasaki H2R replica front fender in fiberglassSingle headlight and led turn signals up frontYoshimura full race exhaustPower commanderK&N air filter inside stock air boxPaint is a replica of the original Gary Nixon bikeWheels were painted gold to match the upside down front fork and caliper Oil was changed at 300 miles with Castrol GTX 10w40 If you have any questions please feel free to ask. Bike is sold as is with no warranty stated or implied. Local pickup or shipping provided by buyer. I am willing to work with your chosen shipper. Payment strictly cash or by cashier’s check. Title is labeled as salvage but it is titled and inspected and ready to ride.

I'm proud to announce that this bike has been featured by Bike Exifamong the best bikes of the week bikeexif.com/bikes-of-the-week-2 We're also on The Bike Shed facebook.com/BikeShedMotorcycleClub/posts/1052790164744568 Check out some of our other creations on: magnumopuscustombikes.com Facebook: Magnum Opus Custom Bikes Description: Here's the latest creation from Magnum Opus Custom Bikes called "#88 Dual Racer" We went through the motor and the bike is currently under testing to assure reliability to the buyer. This bike features NO Starter issues very common with early viragos. The motor has great compression, the carbs have been rebuilt, re-jetted and the floats adjusted to the new stance of the bike. No gas/vacuum leaks. The exhaust is handmade here in our shop, protected with a layer of paint to prevent rust and wrapped with titanium fiberglass wrap.We installed vortex clip ons, CNC aluminum handgrips, drilled the rotor, installed custom made brake line, new master cylinder, rebuilt the caliper and installed new pads. The headlight is one of a kind handmade and features triple cree led, it has only 1 beam but 3 times the brightness of regular halogen lights. No more dark, dangerous rides at night. We installed a 2.5" in speedometer to preserve a minimalistic look of the bike, relocated the ingnition switch on the right side of the bike and customized the wiring hareness under the tankThe tank comes from a honda CB750, it's in great conditions and it's been adapted to the new yamaha frame.it's easy to take off the bike having only one bolt accessible under the seat.it features a beautiful custom paint job candy gold/whiteThe subframe has been fabricated in our shop to fit this super comfortable Motolanna cafe racer seat. The battery (non spillable) fitted under the seat and hidden with stainless steel mesh on the sides. We installed new rear sets to get a more comfortable riding position, forks boots to keep the forks clean and at the same time to accomplish a specific look of the front endThe bike rides and sounds wonderfully, it has straight pipes (yes, loud pipes save lives) but i can install some baffles to reduce the noise of 10/15 db. upon request.I personally love it this way, the noise it's totally manageable. We obviously got rid of the air box and installed a single velocity stack right where the air box was, we also installed some screens to keep the intake clean from big particlesLed headlight, Led blinkers, led tail and brake light.Front and rear suspensions are adjustable so you can adapt it to your riding We were able to shave 50-60 pound off the bike resulting into a faster and safer machine In the end we opted for dual sport tires as they give this bike a beefier/sportier look If you're local (Wilimington, NC area) we give you a 500 miles/30 days warranty as we're sure of the way we built this bike. NO other builder gives you any warranty on a vintage bike.Unfortunately there's NO warranty expressed or implied for out of area / state / country buyers, due to possible scams. MAKE SURE TO WHATCH IN HD!!! The sound picked by the mic doesn't give it justice. Our bikes have been featured on all the major motorcycle websites, blogs like "Cafè racer TV" , "The Distinguished Gentlemans ride" and many more We accept credit card payments - 3.2% credit card fee will be added to the total Clean/clear title as for all our bikes Feel free to contact me with any question/concern Shipping references available upon request. Make sure you read the "Payment and Shipping" section as well. Buy with confidence and as always WE SHIP WORLDWIDE! Disclaimer:Depending on what part of the globe you live in, you might need to re-jet the carburetors in order to have a smooth ride.If your weather and altitude are similar to Wilmington NC, you won't need to do change anything.

This 1976 Suzuki GT750 Cafe Racer project is called "Threesome" due to it's 3 cylinder engine configuration. If you are familiar with this model you will know that when those three cylinders start firing in rapid 2 stroke fashion anywhere above 4500 rpm it will make the hair on your neck stand up and give you goosebumps. The sensation is sublime. This bike has been part of my collection for the past 2.5 years. The Bexton garage recently acquired another GT project bike that will replace this one.The donor bike had 16XXX miles on it and the motor ran strong without any leaks or other issues. Due to this the motor was given a fresh water pump and a fresh coat of black paint. Otherwise it was left alone. I have put another 1500 trouble free miles on it since the build was completed. It has since started to push a bit of oil out the breather when ridden too spiritedly, which indicates that the crank seals are starting to go. I installed a pipe to catch the oil and then drain it back into the engine to contain it. Performance remained unchanged due to this. However it will require a fresh set of crank seals if you plan to ride it cross country. I am pointing this out so as not to catch the new owner by surprise. But if you plan to just ride it occasionally like I do it will probably be good for years to come, just remember to change the oil regularly. The frame was modified to suit the Rickman tail section and seat. The entire frame and every single bracket was also powder coated. Electronics and battery are now housed under the tail. It has also been equipped with updated modern electronic ignition and voltage regulator and rectifier. I added a few gussets in the center triangle to tighten up the frame a little. The front end comes from a Suzuki Hayabusa, complete with forks, wheel and 6 piston caliper brakes. The front fender is from a Ducati Monster. In the rear I built a custom swingarm, using the swingarm and brake from a modern Suzuki 750 Katana as a donor. The Katana swingarm was shortened to retain the original wheelbase and some shock mounts welded on to retain the stock twin shock setup. It now runs on needle bearings instead of the original plastic bushings. I used a Suzuki SV650 rear wheel and also SV650 race rear sets. The fairing is from a Ducati SuperSport. The motor was adorned with a Jethot coated set of Jemco chambers and the carburetors cleaned and re-jetted to suit the chambers and K&N tube filters. The bike is very well sorted and easy to ride, but also a wolf in sheeps clothing, when you hit 5000 rpm you better hang on when that 2 stroke power band kicks in. The rear shock are Chinese knockoffs imitating a famous brand, so do not mistake them for being the real deal. They work as well as their origin suggests under normal riding conditions. This is an old bike design and the kickstand sits under the left chamber not leaving much room before things start touching down so you cannot expect to ride this bike at Grand Prix speeds anyway. The Hayabusa forks work extremely well and so do the brakes. I have a very detailed write up of the build with pictures and some video on my website MyBikeProject where you can see some of my other builds also. The bike was also featured on Silodrome Silodrome If you have any questions please feel free to ask. Local pickup only by your chosen shipper. I will work with the buyer to enable pickup locally. On Aug-11-15 at 07:30:02 PDT, seller added the following information: Video of the bike riding can be seen here: GT750-Riding
