Up for sale is a reconstructed soft tail chopper rolling chassis with Harley Davidson motor and transmission. As can be seen in pictures this is an incomplete project. The frame is a KRAFTECH softail chopper style equipped for a 180 rear tire with a 38 degree rake with a 4" stretch on a 1.5" backbone stretch. The bike is also equipped with new tires and a 60 spoke wheel set, topped off with a set of KJS fenders(9" softail rear with 9" raw struts and a KJS 2.15 matching front fender). The motor and transmission are off a 1989 Harley Davidson FLSSPE 1340 and was a very good running motor and tranni. All other parts on the bike are new. As seen in pictures there are several photos with an assortment of parts that also go with the deal, not sure what actually goes with the bike but it all goes with the package. This bike is being sold as-is as seen in pictures with no returns. I have chased down the title through the state of New Hampshire with all certificates and it has been issued new title for 2015, even though the frame was bought with certificate of origin in 2006 and the motor and tranni are 1989. So all the leg work is done and bike has good clean title. Successful bidder is responsible for pick-up or shipping. Any questions please ask before you buy

I'm selling a hand built, custom replica of an Indian board track racer. All of the motorcycles of this time period were experimental machines. Automobiles were a new thing, airplanes were being designed and experimented with. Motorcycles were being put together by hundreds of bicycle shops by this time. Names like Yale, Henderson, Harley Davidson, Indian, Pope,Thor and many more, many gone by the depression. These bikes were raced in motordromes, oval, wood, steep banked tracks, that were built in major cities all over the country. These machines were stripped down, bone shakers, that had to be pushed to start and had no brakes. In 1909, Indian's rider set a speed record for a 1,000 miles of 22 hours, 20 minutes and 59 seconds at Hendee's motordrome in Springfield Ma. on a diamond framed bike similar to this. Harley wasn't even competition yet! I hand build these frames, one at a time, making a very authentic and rideable machine. Every part is brand new, made to look old. The new frames are chopped and mig welded to fit the designs of the originals. The motors are 66cc, two stroke motors that get about 100mpg. The fuel tank is hand fabricated from 4" steel tube. The handlebars are bent from cadmium plated steel to match the racing bars from that time period. This one is detailed to look like an older restoration, some defects, some rust, etc. Most of the bike is custom with details like braided plug wire, copper and brass, wherever possible. For the faint of heart, I do add a rear coaster style brake. I ride these bikes for several hours to make sure that if there are any bugs, they are worked out. It gives the new motor a chance to break in. You pedal it to start it, dump the hand clutch and hang on! These bikes will go 30-35mph, enough to make you wonder "Why am I doing this?" They are as uncomfortable as riding a park bench but you look good! They are a Blast to ride! You really get the feel of what it was like to ride one of these bone shakers over 100 years ago. Everywhere you go, people will gather and ask questions and you'll enjoy conversation about the old days. Thirteen of my custom, hand built machines have been shipped all over the U.S. This is #14. Who knows, because of their rarity, they may be very valuable collector's items in 100 years! One of the bikes recently spent several days hanging out at the Boardwalk at The Weirs, for Laconia Bike Week. People walked by some very expensive choppers, to look at my replica, not even knowing it wasn't authentic until I told them! You can own one of these for much less than originals. The shipping is about $200.00, anywhere in the states. I partially disassemble them, crate them and send them by FedEx. You will need some basic skills and tools to put it back together, but no problem, I will be of assistance whenever needed. I require a $500.00 deposit at the end of the auction and the balance before I ship the bike. I'm a one man shop, in business for over 35 years and I take a lot of pride in my work! I've enjoyed working on, restoring and hot rodding several 30's & 40's vintage shop trucks and built bikes like a Norton Atlas, Yamaha bobbers and even a '48' hardtail Harley 'EL' pan. If you have any questions, don't hesitate to call me and speak to me personally, Dan Adel, Adel Signs, 603-267-1800. Buyer is responsible for shipping costs. I can crate it and ship it by FedEx just about anywhere in the US for about $200.00, in addition to the cost of the bike. If you're interested, I can build one specifically for you! Just give me a call with any questions!

This bike turns heads at every stop light! This is NOT a bolt together chopper… full weld and molding on Redneck Engineering frame, tanks, and fenders! California style geometry with excellent rake and trail set-up. Total Performnace 122 Billet motor ($8900 for motor alone), Baker Tranny, BDL wide open belt drive, 230 rear tire, gorgeous wheels, and a true custom exhaust only seen on extreme high end choppers. Attention to detail is superb with weld & fill style molding (not bondo), peaked and ridged fenders, gold and copper leaf inlay in a show quality paint job… all custom paint "KAOTIC" by Musso Motorsportz. The bike shows like a dream but is also a driver… fun to ride and be seen on! This is a big heavy chopper, so not for the small framed guy or gal or the inexperienced. Cost $42K to build and has been sitting in my heated collector garage (I'm an executive who builds and fabricates custom vehicles as a hobby)… due to a bum hip can't ride a two wheeler anymore and going the trike route once this bike sells. I know the custom chopper market is soft, and regret having to sell, but want to apply this to the purchase of an HD trike. Selling for a fraction of what is worth, but its does me no good sitting in the garage any longer. Its selling for what the motor, tranny, and raw frame are worth alone, let alone all other parts, wheels, tires, etc + hundreds of hours of fab time. The custom exhaust was $1800 alone. If you know custom choppers you will appreciate this bike. Baker FireStarter is ready to go in… will sell with it out or installed… prefer to sell it as-is, but will do the assembly if you are not an experienced builder or handy with a ratchet. Great opportunity for a chopper lover to own something that does not look ridiculous but will turn every head!
