For the first time ever, we are pleased to announce for sale one of the world's rarest motorcycles. Drawing inspiration from the pop art movement kick-started by Andy Warhol's admiration of Coca-Cola, this one of a kind masterpiece was commissioned by the great-great granddaughter of Asa Candler, founder of the Coca-Cola Company. She and her husband assembled a team of fifteen craftsmen and artists who worked meticulously over a span of two years to create what they would later call “The Bike That Refreshes”. This unique history makes The Bike that Refreshes the only existent motorcycle fully licensed to use the logos and trademarks of The Coca-Cola Company. These rights and licenses will transfer to the new owner. The motorcycle is based on a 1996 Harley-Davidson Road King and features numerous design elements honoring the history of Coca-Cola. These include 52 bottle caps milled out of high grade billet aluminum. It has multiple trademarks and features 6 design patents. It has spent much of its life on display at the Coca-Cola corporate headquarters and World of Coca-Cola Museum. The motorcycle has been featured in Robb Report's Ultimate Gift Guide, led the parade lap at the Nascar World Coca-Cola 600, and was displayed at the 1996 Summer Olympics in Atlanta. It has won over 20 first place trophies and been featured in numerous books and magazines throughout the world. For the first time The Bike That Refreshes is available for sale to discerning collectors of pop americana and dedicated connoisseurs of Coca-Cola®.
