1968 Custom Trike , ! Old school meets new! If you like chrome, this custom built chopper style VW engine trike has got it! Gorgeous red trike with 1600 cc and 5 speed transmission with reverse engine. Gas tank is custom designed with a high and low port and switch over control, all aluminum and can be filled from either side. All controls were pulled through the handle bars and mounted like the Harley D. controls. Special plug built in to run the trike, so that the body can be easily removed for service purposes. The front end is a chrome Paughco Springer front end which has a nice chopper-like rake to it. The trailer hitch was built into the roll cage and powder coated to match the trike's body. The tour pack has been wired for 12 volts, if one chooses, could install a sound system with speakers. Trike comes with a front wheel tow hitch, and a special cable was installed so the trike can plug into any towing vehicle. Chrome highway pegs, pipes, shifter, springer front end and much more for lovers of chrome! Fun to ride around town without the trailer, or attach the trailer and go for long hauls, with comfortable seating. The frame is original--everything else is new!
