My 2001 Custom V6 Trike does it all. It's quick..easy to steer...handles great...reliable and economical. In fact, the previous owner only has one arm and he engineered the trike to be easy to steer for him.Your grandmother could steer this trike. There are no shakes or shimmies. It tracks like it's on rails The engine is a 231 Buick V6 mated to a 5 speed manual corvette transmission (T5).With this combination there is plenty of power and crusing speed as well.She is truly easy to ride and soooo much fun too. There's approximately 32500 miles on the trike. She has proven to be reliable, safe, and fun.And economical on gasoline too. Driven conservatively don't be surprised to get 35mpg.Depends on your right foot. And she will happily run on regular gas. The rear end is from a Mazda Miata which probably explains why she handles so lightlyand easily. Even has seatbelts for the safety minded rider(s). Let me tell you. Anybody can spend bunches of money for a goldwing or harley trike.This trike will do an equally good or better job at about 20% of the cost and it will be more fun. DOESN'T THIS JUST SAY IT ALL? The front end is from an older gold wing with added shocks to give it that "springer" lookand a solid reinforced ride. There is so much fabulous engineering that went into this trike.The previous owner is a rancher but he should have been an engineer. And what's so unique is he lost his right arm years ago so he made this trike incrediblyeasy to ride and steer. The trike is located in El Paso, Texas. You can fly into the El Paso International airportwhere I will pick you up and you can ride her home. She is ready for the long haul. Thetires are weak but they will be replaced before your arriving to pick the trike up. I was reading an article about a 2008 Triumph Rocket Triple that was only 6 HP more, so this bike definitely holds its own for horsepower creds. If you're looking at the new bike showrooms today, you've got to spend a decent amount of change to get around those numbers. BIKE RUNS EXCELLENT So, here you've got the total package. Cruiser capabilities with poser status. Ape hanger handlebars are 5-way adjustable. They are on the full out position now. Can go in 4 more positions. Nice bike with many new parts. Has a new rear Dunlop Cruisemax 150/80B16 WWW. Front is a 120/90-18 Kenda Kruz. New metal flake tuck & roll seat. Large solo with matching metal flake grips. New throttle control with braided throttle cable. Headlight is vintage 35 watt with yellow tint. S&W override fork springs. Downdraft carburetors are running chrome velocity stacks. Gas tank has been relocated to the right side hard bag. Hard bags are fiberglass. Locking type with matching key. The left side holds the majority of the bike's electrics and a working cigarette lighter. Also has room for storage. Right hard bag houses the gas tank.
