Cushman Scooter Cushman Motor Scooters were built in Lincoln, Nebraska from 1949 until 1965 by Cushman Motor Works. Cushman had been in the engine business since 1901 and began manufacturing scooters as a way to sell more engines. Cushman Scooters and the Cushman Husky engine were used at military facilities during WW2. Cushman made an airborne version for the military with a channel iron frame that was designed to be dropped by parachute. Cushman made many other models of motor scooters and Trucksters over the years. Since 1965 they have made only specialty vehicles. 1951 Cushman Eagle Restoration 1951 Cushman Eagle fully restored in 2016.Painted using the popular Chevrolet Synergy Green color.White paint includes the green metallic flakes in it for a pearl look. Original rebuilt 8 HP Motor.Original rebuilt 2 speed transmission.Added the Phil Humphrey electric start kit while still maintaining the original kick start.The original frame, fenders, seat pan and springs were all used in restoration.Top speed is 35MPH – 45MPHHigh speed tires and aluminum rims have been included.Shipping and or transport is 100% the buyers responsibility.
