Up for bid is my 94 Wide Glide. Trying to get money together to buy a house, and to be honest, I rarely ride anymore. I bought this bike 2 years ago with the intent of stripping it down and rebuilding it, but I found that I have no time and even less money to engage in such a venture. When I first got it I stripped it down to what you see now. Minimal wiring, with the starter button and headlight switch mounted on the dash. Speedo cable has been hooked up since I've had it and the previous owner said the same. It has less than 43,000 miles on it, and the title shows true mileage. No turn signals or any electrics run to the handlebars. 20 inch apes, if I remember right. I can get an exact measurement if you need it. I stripped the paint down to the metal and spray canned primer, semi gloss black, and matte clear, several coats each. Not a pro job, but looks pretty good if I do say so myself haha... Running a Mikuni carb and crane hi-4 ignition. 3 inch BDL belt primary. Primary and drive belts have less than 500 miles on them. New stator, rotor, and voltage regulator. I don't know if the motor has had any work. It runs well and is faster than any Harley I've owned. Rear tire tread is pretty low. The only leak I'm seeing is a little oil on the trans case that I honestly think is coming from the oil dipstick. I can't find any leaks from the heads or cylinders. Might see a drop underneath if it sits for a long time. I don't have a whole lot of miles on this bike so I can't really testify to the history. It has run great for the two years I've owned it. It doesn't like the cold very much, I can tell you that haha... But it will start! I'm starting at a very reasonable price and am open to offers. You can jump right on this bike and hit the road and ride it as is, or use it as the start of a custom project. Like any old bike, be prepared to replace parts or repair it as needed. I thought about parting it out, but I don't have the time to get into all that. Anyway I think it has plenty of life in it as is. Please feel free to ask any questions. After I purchased it I took the time to restore this bike in order to give it a worry free, solidly reliable and trustworthy commuter machine reputation (I ride year round as long as no ice on roadway). Turns out that it's way more then just a great commuting cruiser! Bike is REALLY fun to ride and has a great tone both on and off throttle (thanks to the Cobra system). I find it an easy ride with a more than comfortable rider seat -- can easily ride several hundred miles in a day without your bum getting tired. Intensive preventative maintenance performed at 17230 miles included: - Replaced ALL wheel bearings and seals, - Replaced swing arm bearings and seals, - Replaced steering head bearings and seals, - ALL water hoses and water seals and reservoir tank replaced, used Genuine Honda antifreeze - Lip seals replaced on final drive, gear & bearings inspected, measured w/in spec - R&R Forks - flushed, cleaned, reassembled with new bushings, tube and dust seals, (refilled with AMSOIL 10w suspension oil) - Approximately 2500 miles later drained & refilled forks w/ AMSOIL 5w (lighter ride), - Radiator drained, flushed and all fins carefully straightened, - Tire valve stems replaced with 90-degree metal stems, - Rear turn signals have polished aluminum bracket extensions to fit saddlebags, - Passenger foot pegs relocated onto custom made stems to allow passenger more comfortable leg position (knees do not bent as much now). Foot rests can easily be moved back to original position in a few moments with just pliers (for cotter pin). - Willie & Max rear saddlebags and fork bag, - Cobra exhaust pipes and carburetor jet kits installed, - Cobra driveshaft chrome cover, - Two tone air horns, - Oils changed regularly (

1976 Harley Davidson FXE Super Glide. 40 year old bike shows normal wear and tear including touch up spots and scuffs to an older quality paint job. This bike was bought from an estate and has a clear Maryland title and a Letter Of Administration with the raised seal of the state for easy transfer. I was told from a long time family friend that this bike was a Liberty Edition model. He also told me the engine and tranny were rebuilt about 7 years ago by one of the best mechanics in this area and only ridden seldomly since then. I cannot verify that information. The engine runs very strong and the bike shifts smoothly. Both engine and tranny are completely oil tight. Carburetor is a S&S B and the fuel enricher has to be held up so cold weather starts take a third hand. I use a stick to hold it up. Bike always starts easy. Bike has been rewired using stacon connectors (not my first choice) And all electrics work as intended other than the 2 rear turn signals work but don't flash due to the front turn signals had been removed. Wiring for the front signals is present and they will flash if hooked up but I do not have them. The rear brake works but is soft. Tread on tires is good but the rear tire has a gouge on the left side from a strut bolt that has since been shortened. Seat has a rip on top. Speedometer is present but there is no drive or cable. Actual mileage unknown. All fluids were just changed using Harley Davidson 60 weight oil.
