2001 Yamaha Midnight Star / Road Star 23,570 Miles Currently Recent services done at 22,200 miles: • New spark plugs • New fuel filter ( O.E.M.) • New chrome K & N Oil Filter • 5 Quarts of Motul 20W- 50 Full synthetic motor oil • New Barnett Spring Conversion Kit for Clutch Installed -w- new Yamaha clutch cover gasket. • New Battery Tender Jr. Also installed (Trickle Charger -w- hookups ). Bike also comes with accessories listed: • Forward control extension kit to move floorboards forward 3 inches (Pacific Coast Star ). • 3 Inch lowered rear end with control links, and Progressive Suspension Coil provided by ( Pacific Coast Star ). • Kuryakyn chrome front and rear brake reservoirs. • Kuryakyn right and left chrome control housings. • Kuryakyn right and left chrome custom mirrors. • Kuryakyn chrome lower belt guard. • Kuryakyn chrome horn covers. • Chrome clutch and brake handles. • Chrome rectifier cover. • Chrome aftermarket luggage rack. • Vance & Hines Chrome 2 into 1 Performance Exhaust* • K & N Performance life time air filter element. • Performance jets installed at time of Exhaust & Air filter installation. • Wide white walled tires ( Metzler ME880 Marathon ) Front with at least 50% tread life left. Rear tire with about 1,000 miles left. • Front windshield with all hardware in great shape. • Rear studded seat for passenger with Yamaha sissy bar and padded rear backrest studded in excellent shape.• Titanium Wrap to the exhaust collector, as I scratched the rear collector, hardly noticeable, looks like a reflection from the ground. Wrap looks great! Lots of compliments. You can either keep the wrap on, or take it off, as the collector's chrome finish is very nice. Also included: • Factory links and coil spring in case you want to lift the bike up to factory height. • "All" the service records for this bike since bought new in 2001 • The license tags are good until February on 2016. This bike runs extremely strong with no issues at all! It has been well cared for, as the service records will show. It is extremely clean, always garaged, gets lots of attention as it has tons of eyeball. I truly feel there isn't another 2001 Midnight Star out there this clean, with all services and add on’s done that has all the original receipts as this one comes with, and has. These Midnight Stars / Road Stars are very well made machines that if well cared for can deliver well over 100,000 miles+, or even 200,000 miles+ easily and they don't require much maintenance at all. All of the service on this one has just been done, it's ready to go long and far. I do still ride on weekends, local only, so the miles may go up slightly. I'm asking $4,500.00 for all this, find another machine that offers so much, and looks so great. The first cash buyer takes it. Cash only, no joy rides without full cash amount in hand.
