So this bike was bought new in NM back in 2000, then shipped to Illinois, where it was stored. Last year my father (in his seventies and has never ridden a motorcycle in his life) bought this in Illinois and returned it to NM. When he bought it it had about 100 less miles on it than it does now. He spent about $1000 having the carbs rebuilt, tank cleaned, seals replaced, etc, since it had been sitting for the last 14 years. He took classes, got his motorcycle endorsement, and decided that was enough. So here is basically a new bike, with recent service.
