This is the final version of the Kings Mountain era of Indian Motorcycle built by Kings Mountain Indian Motorcycle builders at the Kings Mountain Indian Motorcycle facility in North Carolina before the plant ceased operations. With a paint scheme emulating the iconic Indian Chief on display at the 1939 Worlds Fair in New York, the stunning highly collectible 2013 Indian Chief Vintage Final Edition is a fully accessorized motorcycle that befits its place in the history of motorcycling. The very limited number of these bikes available paved the way for the new era in Indian Motorcycle under the leadership of Polaris Industries. Before closing the Kings Mountain facility, employees there were commissioned by Polaris to hand build twenty-five special Indian Chief Vintage Final Edition bikes for worldwide distribution to commemorate its acquisition of the Indian trade mark. The 2013 Indian Chief Vintage Final Edition comes fully loaded with the Worlds Fair-inspired paint scheme of Indian Red, Thunder Black, and Gold Pinstripe; auxiliary driving lamps; black leather solo seat with included detachable passenger seat; windshield; black leather saddlebags; chrome grab rail; leather fringe; engine guards; and chrome fender tips. Powered by the Power Plus 105ci engine wears a custom-designed, numbered emblem on the frame to commemorate the brands historic achievements. It comes with many features like the heavily valanced fenders, the golden Indian Chief head-dress logo adorning the tank, the heavily chromed back lit Indian War Bonnet lamp on the front fender and leather fringes dangling off the leather seat and saddlebag. It features the last of the Kings Mountain-designed Power Plus 105 engines, a tall, pushrod-operated mill that's been highly chromed and polished and mated to a Baker six-speed transmission. The Vintage Final Edition has a paint scheme that came from the Indian Chief displayed at the 1939 Worlds Fair in New York, a blend of Indian Red, Thunder Black and Gold Pinstripe. It has clean spoke wheels wrapped in whitewalls, and the limited edition collectible is stamped with a numbered frame badge. At the time it was produced, the 2013 Indian Chief Vintage Final Edition was exclusively available for purchase in North America with an original MSRP of $37,599 and $39,599 in Canada.
