2005 Harley-Davidson Softail DELUXE, My wife no longer rides her Harley and we have decided to sell it. This is a 2005 Harley-Davidson FLSTNI Softail Deluxe. It was purchased in July of 2012 with 31,882 miles on the odometer; the odometer currently indicates 34,000 miles. So in the last three years it has been ridden a little over 2,100 miles and I put on almost all of those miles. This bike is so much fun to drive that I have preferred riding it rather than my Ultra Classic. This bike has a 1450cc counter-balanced engine for a very smooth riding experience. It has great sound; I believe the pipes are Harley-Davidson Screaming Eagle pipes. The color of the bike is two-tone, white and blue. There are matching two-tone hard saddle bags for storage; the bags have a key lock. Some of the options included with the bike are: Detachable windshield Hard color-coordinated saddle bags Luggage rack Detachable passenger back rest Heated grips (great for cool spring and fall riding) Bright flashing LED stop lights in the rear for maximum visibility Harley-Davidson speakers iPod sound system with handlebar-mounted volume control Chrome engine guards Chrome side wind deflectors, mounted outboard of forks Leather windshield pouch for additional storage Longer handlebar risers to move handlebars closer to rider This bike is fun for any type of rider but is perfect for a person of shorter stature. It is low, allowing the rider to get his/her feet flat on the ground. Additionally, the taller handlebar risers move the handlebars closer to the rider, making riding more comfortable for the rider as well as making it easier to handle the weight of the bike. BONUS ITEM! When we bought this bike in 2012 from Conrads Harley-Davidson, we purchased a Harley-Davidson 5-year, unlimited mileage, service plan. There are 2 years left on this plan. With the exception of items that wear (like tires, brake pads, belts, etc.), everything else that can go wrong with the bike will be repaired by any Harley-Davidson dealer. All you would be responsible for is paying a $50 deductible. RECENTLY SERVICED! This bike was serviced at Conrads Harley-Davidson on 4/17/15. All fluids were changed and replaced with Harley Synthetic Motor Oil. When the bike was brought in for service, it had 34,006 miles on the odometer. It wont need servicing until 39,000 or so.
