1995 Harley Davidson Sportster 1200cc -- $2,995 OBO. This bike has been regularly serviced and taken care of. Great bike for someone who knows how to ride but is still a relative beginner. It runs great and I know of no problems with it. The bike has many chrome features, Vance and Hines pipes, and leather saddlebags. It was converted to a 1200 by the previous owner. I have changed the fluids and oil filter myself twice a season. I have also maintained the bike in good condition - fixing and repairing parts as they have worn out. Almost all of the work has been done at Bay State Motorcycles in Waltham, and I have receipts for some of the work. I also have clear title and the original owner's manual. History: I bought it 3 years ago upon entering grad school. The woman who sold it to be was from Holliston MA, and she kept it garaged and in perfect shape since she had bought it from the original owner back in the 1990s. The bike was originally sold new out of the Harley dealership in Everett. The bike has been converted from a 883cc to 1200cc. I have regularly serviced it since I bought it from the woman from Holliston. I have also put a good deal of money into the bike, fixing and replacing parts as they have worn out. New Parts on Bike (receipts for some):new batterynew spark plugsserviced with new oil filter in April of this yeartires are one year oldclutch and brake handles replaced one year agofront and rear brakes replaced one year agobrake lines flushed one year ago and brake fluid replacedintake manifold gaskets, starter button, and kickstand spring replaced between 2 and 3 years agoWear/Tear - the bike is in very good shape for its age. It was garaged-kept its whole life until I moved to an apartment without a garage last year. Since then it has developed some minor surface rust in some areas. Other than the minor surface rust around some of the screw heads and foot pegs, there is a scratch on the side of one of the Vance and Hines pipes. I have included a picture of this scratch. I treat it with rust remover from time to time and it does not seem to be very noticeable. The scratch was caused when the bike went down going about 5-8 mph in the snow. I was approaching a stop sign on a side street near by house, trying to rush home after unexpected snowfall, and the tires just hit snow mush and slid down. The scratch is the only effect of this incident, and the bike has never been down on any other occasion. Extras - Other things included in the price: AFX orange full-faced helmet, Bell black 3/4 faced helmet, torque wrench (to tighten primary fluid plug), oil filter remover attachment, new black leather touring gloves, new motorcycle cover, black moto-goggles, brand new HD brand winter motorcycle weather-proof pants (fits 34-36 long but may fit a 32 if over jeans, etc.).
