1970 Triumph T120R Daytona 500, 1970 Triumph T120R Daytona 500 - OWN A WONDERFUL PIECE OF RARE TRIUMPH MOTORCYCLING HISTORY! We have a wonderfully restored 1970 (1969 manufactured, 1970 titled) Triumph T120R Daytona 500. This is a rare dedicated racing special edition of the famed Daytona lineup. On the surface it looks like a standard Triumph Daytona T100. But the Daytona T120R was fitted with a heavy duty crankshaft and flywheel from the T120R 650 engine to handle the stress and demands of the racetrack. The transmission gearing was also adjusted for racing, and it was given a heavier rear suspension. This Daytona is in excellent condition. The photographs don't do it justice, it has to be seen to be appreciated. It has been thoroughly restored and in great running condition.
