1985 Yamaha Vmax 1200, Hello, I have a beautiful condition 85 Vmax that needs absolutely nothing. It has been my daily driver for the last 6 months and I did every possible thing I could to it maintenance wise that I could think of over the winter. 50k miles, 7k in mods The bike is garage kept and appears to have been its whole life, needs nothing mechanically as you can see my paranoid winter maintenance list below. Recently had her dynoed at an event and she pushed 132 HP and 81 tq at the rear wheel. - $1500 radial rims front + back (still have stock, good tires on all) - Stage 7 jet kit - Morley's muscle airbox - $450 rear suspension - Dale Walker Holeshot exhaust (complete full exhaust) - Previously had $2,000 Vgas FCR carbs, traded for current ones (same power, more dependability) - Progressive front suspension/gold emulators - Frame braces - Fork brace - Corbin seat - LED headlight w/ High and Low - Jetted to spec for mods - Twist on oil filter adapter - Oring mod - Stainless steel brake lines - Mosfett r/r - Vboost - Billet bar end mirrors - Windscreen - Saddlebags - Gel seat pads (200$ front and rear) - Other stuff, I'm sure And recent maintenance includes (also probably forgetting some): - Valves - Spark plugs - Valve cover gaskets (have front, rear is on currently) - Two new tires on stock rims - Total strip and reseal/recoat of gas tank with KBS - Fuel/air filter - Totally rebuilt carbs (new slides as well, $300+ for them) - Two oil changes - Coolant - Brake fluid - Fuel lines cleaned - Wiring gone over - New mosfett r/r installed - Charging system checked and good - New 430 CCA sealed battery - Fork seals - New grips - Steering head adjusted - New oil filter - Compression checked (perfect) - LED turn signals - Also other stuff $3,800.00 4438764584
