2017 Can-Am Outlander 6x6 DPS 650, Outlander 6x6 DPS BUILT FOR HARD WORK AND PLAY The tougher the terrain is, the better the characteristics of the Outlander 6x6 DPS display. It sets a new standard in the segment by reaching previously impassable destinations. ROTAX V-TWIN ENGINE: The 62-hp Rotax 650 liquid-cooled V-Twin engine is complete with four valves per cylinder and single overhead camshaft. It delivers big power and performance while being both reliable and efficient. CONTINUOUSLY VARIABLE TRANSMISSION (CVT) WITH EXTRA LOW L-GEAR: The Continuously Variable Transmission (CVT) on the Outlander 6x6 has an extra low range L-gear to allow for an increased workload and a softer engagement for smooth starts. Its CVT intake features improved cooling for increasedefficiency in work conditions. TRI-MODE DYNAMIC POWER STEERING (DPS): The Tri-Mode Dynamic Power Steering (DPS) offers easy steering assistance to the rider, adapting the level to the vehicle's speed. At lower speed, assistance is increased to reduce steering effort while at higher speed it is reduced to keep maximum steering feel to the rider. On top of that, it is possible choose between three modes to match each rider's preferences. VISCO-LOK QE AUTO-LOCKING FRONT DIFFERENTIAL: For situations that require optimal traction and as much contact patch with the terrain at hand, the Outlander 6x6 offers both 4x6 and 6x6 operation with its Visco-Lok QE. Once 6x6 is selected, the system intelligently transfers power from the slipping front wheel to the opposing wheel with traction and is not hampered by speed or rev limiters. The progressively and automatically locking front differential system requires no additional buttons to push or levers to hold. In 4x6 mode, all four rear wheels provide traction. 1,650 LB TOWING CAPACITY: Fully equipped for hard work, the Outlander 6x6 has a 1,650 lb (750 kg) towing capacity and a 700 lb (318 kg) bed capacity.
