Its 131-hp turbocharged engine option leads the way, and its rider-focused design and impressive handling provide a comfortable and confident ride. Features May Include: INDUSTRY-LEADING POWER Boosting the performance of the proven Rotax 1000R engine with the industry's first factory-installed turbocharger enables the Maverick X ds to produce an impressive 131-HP. The electronically controled wastegate automatically adjusts boost pressure for optimal performance in any condition and even maintains full performance at altitudes up to 5,000-ft. Paired to the turbo is an air-to-air Intercooler with built-in fan to keep cooled air flowing to the engine even in the most demanding conditions. To keep up with the added pressure in the engine, new low pressure forged pistons have been added for long-lasting performance. Finally, the new high capacity injectors ensure a better fuel delivery, providing an optimal air/fuel mixture to improve performance. INNOVATIVE REAR SUSPENSION The innovative Torsional Trailing A-arms (TTA) rear suspension is a compact version of a five-link suspension featuring no bump steer and low scrub. This all translates to a more controlled wheel movement, optimal bump absoprtion and tire-to-ground contact for predictable handling. Compact design means low unsprung weight for quicker suspension reaction to changing terrain. Its 16 inches of travel will provide a smooth ride at hard-charging paces or in technical terrain. HIGH-PERFORMANCE SHOCKS Pure sport side-by-sides demand high-performance shocks. That's why the Maverick is equipped with Exclusive FOX82.5 PODIUM8 RC2 shocks. Front and rear shocks feature adjustments for Dual Speed Compression (DSC), rebound and dual rate spring with infinite preload allowing to fine tune the system for any driving style, terrain or course conditions. The large-diameter bore allows for greater damping force capability, while allowing the shock to run at lower overall temperatures, offer less fade and more consistent damping. The rear shocks feature a position-sensitive Bottom-Out Control and a spring crossover that will allow for less compression damping at ride-height to improve comfort and traction while giving huge damping at the end of the stroke to flatten out the biggest of bumps. The 7/8-inch shaft gives the rear shocks a lot of additional strength & buckling resistance to handle the most demanding conditions. PERFORMANCE WHEELS AND TIRES The performance beadlock wheels use a mechanical fastening system that makes it nearly impossible for the tire bead to break loose from the wheel during heavy acceleration or cornering.

Standard Features May Include 101-hp Rotax® 1000R V-Twin Engine & Dual Exhaust The 976cc, 101-hp Rotax® 1000R V-Twin engine is Can-Am's most powerful side-by-side engine. This liquid-cooled, single-overhead-cam power plant features four valves per cylinder and is fed by a 54mm Bosch8 throttle body and two sophisticated VDO Siemens8 fuel injectors. Intelligent Throttle Control (iTC) This electronic throttle-by-wire system works in conjunction with the 54mm Bosch8 throttle body to produce smooth delivery, even if the driver's foot is bouncing due to the rough terrain. The iTC system detects unwanted bounces and filters the input. Comes with a progressive and sport mode. High-Flow Dynamics When an engine breathes easier, it can produce more horsepower. So we optimized air intake, combustion, and exhaust flow. Larger intake plenum, high-flow heads, larger valves, increased compression ratio, and high-flow dual exhaust all contribute to this more powerful and efficient engine.
