This is a one of a kind 04 XB12s Lightning. Well maintained, oil changed annually (last one was in October '16). Always stored indoors during the winter and avoided riding it in the rain. You will never see one quite like it and I am always getting complements. The frame holds the fuel to lower the center of gravity, the engine oil is in the swing arm, and it has one massive front brake disc, and has a ton of torque ... American ingenuity at its best! The design is still being used today in new EBR motorcycles. It was recently at the Harley dealer for a "tune up" (replaced: brake fluid, plugs, throttle position sensor, timing sensor, and front tire). The back tire has less than 1k on it (rear bearings replaced at the same time). Both tires are Michelin Pilot Road 2s. Has original battery which I keep on a tender.Test drive taken on April 2nd; everything checked out fine.It has the following extras: -Revolution Performance Big Bore Kit (sounds amazing) and 50 cc extra power - runs cooler with this kit-Custom powder coated paint job (engine case, frame, swing arm)-Jardine RT1 racing muffler (repacked about 4k miles ago)-Racing ECM-Dyno tuned (results available upon request)-Airbox kit w/ K&N filter (serviced annually)-Catch-Can (prevents condensation and oily residue from getting on your muffler and rear tire) -Custom LED tail lamp (turn and brake)-Aftermarket clear front turn signal lights-Frame protectors - upper frame (pucks), front and rear axles -Adjustable levers -Right side air scoop -Carbon fiber wind screen (have custom painted (white) original one)-Upgraded foot pegs-Muller Power clutchAlso included:-owner's manual-service manual -extra seat (for taller riders) -the parts that were replaced -folder full of receipts (paperwork) -box of misc items-rear stand-Muffler plug to reduce noisePlease contact me with any questions.

Selling my 2003 Buell XB9S with just over 9,000 miles and counting because I'm still riding it to work a few days a week. Great bike mechanically, LOUD aftermarket Jardine RT-1 pipe, tires have 80% tread (new this spring), rear fender eliminator kit, carbon fiber vinyl on tank and windscreen, bar end mirrors, oil changed 500 miles ago, and selling with new filter and oil for next oil change, primary oil also changed. This bike is pretty quick qnd excellent in the twisties. LOTS of torque! Oil is in swing arm, fuel is in frame, quite a unique design by racing legend Erik Buell. I just dont have time to ride as much as i use to. Won't find one of this year with fewer miles for this price. Just go search and see for yourself. Bikes of this year with 20,000 miles are selling for $3,500. Price is semi-firm. Bike also comes with ECMDROID Bluetooth adapter ($100) to tune right from your Android phone wirelessly. I bought this about 5 years ago and now want a cruiser. In those 5 years I have brought it back to as close to factory as I can. I have replaced all turn signals, brake pads, clutch cable, clutch and brake levers, front and rear foot pegs, drive belt, rear rim, wheel bearings, front and rear tires, hand grips, battery and mirrors. This bike has been very fun and very reliable. I will miss it, but I've gotten too old for it. Asking $3,000. NO trades. Cash only, and I will NOT ship.
