Departing with my beloved Buell XB12SCG. This bike was my daily commuter for the past two years. It never once gave me problems and starts up right away.For those unfamiliar with Buell, it was a division of Harley run by Erik Buell, a rogue engineer. He made American sports bikes with modified Sportster engines. This model has all sorts of interesting innovations. Fuel and oil are stored in the frame, the exhaust sits below the bike, it's belt-driven, the front brake has a perimeter rotor, the air box sits under a translucent cover where a fuel tank would be located on a more traditional bike. It's really fascinating. Unfortunately, Harley sold off the division in 2009. And it vibrates like a Harley. It's a beast. All routine service performed at Oakland Harley-Davidson (I have paperwork).No major mods were added. I bought and installed OEM mirrors, and an engine scoop for better airflow to the motor. I added a grill to the headlight (from the XB9S model). The previous owner removed CARB emissions equipment and installed adjustable brake and clutch levers. He also removed the muffler guard and couldn't find it at the time of sale. And he dented one of the header pipes (you can see the damage in the pics). It has almost 19k miles on it. I'm selling because I no longer have access to a garage and I have two other bikes. This bike has always been garaged or covered during my ownership. And I've never dropped it. Comes with original owner's manual, spare key and paperwork for service. Asking $4,000 OBO. Cash only.
