Selling my lightning long. I've got too many projects and not enough time. I bought this bike early last season and only put about 150 miles on it. The odometer reads 238xx. I replaced the rubber and regular maintenance was done. I purchased a new belt but never installed it. The bike runs strong. It's got an upgraded front caliper and a drummer stainless exhaust. Grip warmers, though they aren't connected. I chopped the tail and painted the side rails and the tail piece matte black to match the bike. The seat had a tear in it when I purchased the bike so I bought a brand new oem saddle. There is one problem and I believe it's the temp sensor. It hiccups when it gets up to running temp and the check engine light will flicker on with each studder. I've looked up the issue and it seems to match the symptoms of a faulty sensor. An easy fix that I planned on completing when the days got a little longer but as I said, I have too many projects and need to thin the herd. If you buy the bike, I have the new belt, the shop manual along with a box of miscellaneous parts the previous owner had kept. I'll throw in two bike stands, one for the swing arm and another for the lower tree. I used them a few times this last summer when working on the bike. Decent stands, but I won't have a use for them without the bike. The pic is when I purchased the bike. I can get you more photos Upon request.

I'm currently trying to sell my 2004 Buell Lightning XB12S, I received this bike from my Father who passed away 5 years ago. I seldom ride it, but take extreme care of it. I only use mobil 1 fluids in both the engine and primary, and change it more than it needs to be changed. I need to create space in my garage and have to finish my other project which is a supercharged Mustang, so I need the money but am in no rush to get rid of it. It had a Pro series race kit added to it in FL at the Tilley Harley Davidson shop. The kit includes a new race ECM, an air cleaner kit, and a great sounding exhaust. I often get compliments on the bike and it sounds like a Harley but on a sport bike frame, which makes people really confused. By the way it is the EVO Harley Davidson 1200 which are known to last for a long time. It has Rizoma rearview mirrors, aftermarket seat, chopped tail, CRG hand brakes, aluminum foot pegs. The exhaust wrap in the pics look dirty, but I just washed it, so they are wet and steaming. It also comes with service records and a $60 factory manual along with the owners manual. 6000 miles, all OEM parts. You know the rest. Great bike but it's time to part ways. The bike is perfect for someone who likes unique style and American craftsmanship.

2008 Buell Lightning XB12S, Bike is super clean, never been tipped over or laid down. Runs and handles great. Has some small upgrades like rizoma signals and mirrors, D&D exhaust, EBR module, foot controlls powder coated black, and reduced plate holder with led tail light. No trades but will listen to reasonable offers. $5,000.00
