This beautiful 2008 Valencia Orange Buell XBS12CG is the 25th Anniversary Edition. The 1203CC air-cooled V-Twin engine is all torque and and the Buell's design is all cornering. If you enjoy being the first off the line and leaning into the bends, this is the bike for you. If not, I bet there's an ad for a Vespa you might want to see. This CG model means that the seat is lower than the standard S model. This creates a lower center of gravity (CG) and is a joy to ride. Without a doubt, the best bike I've ever owned. If you're not familiar with Buell, you're missing out. This is an American bike that was engineered for success, not the typical cookie-cutter foreign rocket. The Lightning has an exhaust between the tires to lower the CG, it has the oil in the swing arm and fuel in the frame, and it has a huge front disc brake letting you stop on a dime. This is a 400 pound bike with a huge V-Twin. Come on, it doesn't get better than that. This Buell has six modifications - I've bobbed the tail (normally there is a big "cheese grater" hanging off the back that holds the turn signals and license plate), swapped the taillight for a brighter LED, added bar end weights, swapped the stock "bug eye" mirrors for sweet lowered cafe style mirrors, changed the air filter to a much more breathable K&N filter, and the best is that I swapped the stock muffler for a Hawk muffler. It basically sounds like a 1960s small block Chevy. Take that, Honda. I bought this new. It's adult owned and never dropped. I rode it primarily as a commuter bike and am only selling as my current commute just doesn't require it. Test rides need motorcycle endorsement and cash in hand. Come see it. Come hear it. Trust me.
