This thing is gorgeous. Just under 13k miles. Meticulously maintained and ready for summer. It's a 1200cc twin engine so it's got a lot of torque on a little frame. I'm getting right around 50mpg so it's a gas saver as well and cheap on insurance.

I have owned this Buell for two years and unfortunately it is time to sell it to fund my masters degree. It has been a great bike. Jardine exhaust, Oberon mirrors, k&n air filter, LED tail light with built in turn signals, exhaust is heat wrapped, gloss black powder coated wheels, low mileage michelin pilot power tires. 1200cc five speed, excellent handling. 24k miles on the odometer. I am asking $4300, but welcome and am willing to negotiate any justifiably reasonable offers. Clean Title in hand. For sale is my 2003 Buell Lightning XB9S which has never been raced, dropped, or wrecked. It was purchased from the original owner in March 2016 but was never ridden due to a combination of work travel and family issues, I will be changing (military) station in the coming month and will not be able to take it with me. The bike is in as excellent condition as it can be for a bike that has seen only 3647 miles since it was purchased. You are welcome to see it for yourself. All parts on it are OEM, including the left foot peg that was broken in transit but has yet to be replaced with factory-original replacement (which is my possession). Included with the bike will also be a second seat (the OEM version found on the XB9Scg), a Xena XX15-SS disc alarm, battery charger, and Cortech seat bag. The tires have all to most of their tread left, and the engine will turn over with no hesitation. Again, the bike is "new" and I would not be selling it were it not for my PCS. The owners manual is available as a PDF and can be sent provided I receive an email address. I have an Arai Vector 2 Nakasuga helmet in XL that is brand new and in its box - never worn or sized for that matter; the same applies to a pair of black Alpinestars S-MX 5 riding boots in size US8/EU42. I have a pair of Icon Pursuit (perforated) black leather gloves that were only used during the motorcycle endorsement class that I took (Note: the class was provided motorcycles.) The gloves can be provided at no charge, but the helmet and boots can be sold for an additional $500. (I mention these only for the sake of giving the buyer an opportunity, but by no means is it compulsory.) I accept PayPal or cash, but the buyer has to arrange for pick-up, as I do not have the time to do so myself. Reasonable offers will be considered. Feel free to reach me at your convenience.
