I'm selling one of my BSAs .... a 1970 Lightning. I bought this bike from the original owner's widow. It is a matching numbers, almost all original bike. Recent maintenance includes (2)new Amal carbs, new Barnett clutch, rebuilt oil pump and one-way valve, Pazon electronic ignition, new tires and tubes, plugs and wires, Installed stainless allen-head screws in place of the old Phillips head ones. This is the last year before the dreaded "oil in frame" BSAs. Everything works: lights, horn, etc. It has 9055 original miles, but that goes up 3 miles daily, as I ride it most everyday. I have a clear title in hand. $5800/OBO

1966 BSA Hornet - 53HP and less than 400 pounds! Usual upgrades, Boyer-Brandsen. lights, horn, roller bearing steering head, Mikunis. heavy gauge aluminum tank, 180W molded stator, plastic coated wiring, etc, etc. Hornets came only with a tachometer - no speedometer. Great DAILY rider! Engine # is A65H1264. In 1966, BSA used A50 frames and A65H motors. Current Texas inspection, registration, and title in my name. $5900/OBO Roger 903-939-1430 days and early evenings(Central Time) See it run here: http://youtu.be/IR4bKAsH8G8 Click and paste the URL to the left. To 70mph, the Triumphs and Harleys of the day got left behind! This thing really draws a crowd wherever I go! Video of cold start here: https://youtu.be/1Aw3hQN1SHo Click and paste the URL to the left $500 deposit due within 48 hours of close of auction. Balance due via wire transfer, certified check, personal check ,or cash in full within 7 days of close of auction. If paying by personal check, check must clear before bike will be released for shipping. I have inside storage for a short time if necessary. Buyer is responsible for pick-up or shipping. This BSA is for sale locally, so this listing may end any time! P.S. I've added some pics of the gas tank, as this is HEAVY-GAUGE aluminum, and was quite expensive. But there will never be any worries about this tank leaking or needing to be sealed - it's ethanol proof! Over the years, I've replaced worn or shabby looking items with newer, stouter, better performing parts. This a start and go motorcycle!

1966 BSA Hornet - All the work is done .... Mikuni carbs, tires and tubes, electronic ignition, forks, wheel bearings, wiring, tachometer, anti-wet sump valve, brakes, high-output(175 watt) molded stator, roller bearings in the triple tree, and a custom made aluminum gas tank - no fiberglass to hassle with. Starts on first or second kick, and runs great. 53HP .... and only 367 pounds. No speedometer as these bikes did not come with it or lights. I've added lights and a horn. I replaced the 52 tooth sprocket with a 47 tooth one so I could ride it without fear of raising the front inadvertantly. I'm way too old for that stuff anymore. Great daily rider! Current Texas inspection, registration, and title. $6800/OBO Roger 903-939-1430 days and early evenings(Central Time) See it run here: http://youtu.be/IR4bKAsH8G8 $500 NON-REFUNDABLE deposit due within 48 hours of close of auction. Balance due via ACH/EFT in full within 7 days of close of auction. I have inside storage for a two weeks if necessary .... after the bike is paid for. Buyer is responsible for pick-up or shipping.
