Hello. I am selling my 2016 BMW S1000XR w/ 6.5K miles. Why am I selling it? Because I actually own two XR's and have decided to keep only one. I purchased it new in February of 2016 from Leo's South in Lakeville, MN. It is in excellent condition and has never been down, dropped or crashed. Both the 600 and 6000 mile services have been done and the bike carries the remainder of BMW's 3yr/36K mile warranty. For those who aren't familiar with this machine, it is essentially BMW's sport-adventure bike utilizing the engine and transmission from the S1000RR sport/track bike. Think of it as the love child of an R1200GS and an S1000RR. Power output is rated at 160 (vs 190 in the RR), however, it is actually faster to accelerate than the RR due to improved torque delivery and different gearing. I have owned roughly 25 motorcycles and the S1000XR is, by quite a margin, the best bike I have ever owned. This one has both the Dynamic and Touring packages consisting of the following: Shift Assistant Pro for clutchless up and downshifts, ABS Pro for improved stability and maximum braking safety, 4 driving modes (ABS Pro, DTC, plus "Dynamic" and "Dynamic Pro", electronic cruise control, LED turn indicators, Dynamic ESA, heated grips, pannier mountings, navigation device preparation incl. Multi-Controller, center stand and a luggage carrier. It is 100% stock except for the S1000XR rim decals I added. The tires are original which indicates how conservatively I ride. I am including a set of very good used Michelin Pilot Power 2's with the sale. Also, I do have a set of mint OEM BMW gray side cases/panniers w/ custom liners I can include for an extra $500.00. They are not automatically included in this auction, though. I have priced the bike to move at $13250 and I am happy to assist with any shipping arrangements. No trades please.
