Excellent sport/touring bike, heavy, but carries its weight low so is surprisingly nimble. Great for multi-thousand mile trips with a passenger as well as playing in the mountains with the rest of the sport bike crowd.
Has BMW's telelever front suspension (no dive when braking), shaft drive (low maintenance), and anti-lock brakes.
This bike has several upgrades: BMW factory alarm with key fob remote, HID headlight, Spiegler stainless steel brake lines, Fiamm horns, headlight flasher (high beam).
Includes custom painted saddlebags and 5.5" sport rear wheel in addition to stock 5" rear wheel. Bags lock closed and lock to bike with ignition key.
This bike has been in storage for the last 10 years. Has new oil/filter, fuel pump/filter, and battery. Runs great. The tires are old and should be replaced, otherwise ready to ride.

This '87 K100RS is in very clean condition! It's a fantastic ride - not Rice-Rocket quick but fast when you want or need it! The Germans introduced the K-Bike as "the gentlemans ride" and at the time it was their most powerful engine! Newer Bridgestone Battalax tires bought at the end of last riding season.145 hp smooth linear power. 80-120 mph in a flick of the wrist.Steady as a rock at speed.Very nimble for a 600 lb motorcycle.During the last 2 years this motorcycle has proven it's reliability, safety economy and prowess on my 100 mile a day commute. Cons:Purchased from an auction dealer with salvaged title in May 2014 with 54K miles. Damage sustained from low speed drop.Left side fairing still shows signs from drop.Heated grips work but fuse blows.Left side pannier is missing keyed lock tumbler.
