2002 bmw r1150r..bike has a new battery,,does have a small dent on top of fuel tank about the size of a quarter,no paint damage due to dent.(see pic).Bike runs and rides beautiful, does not smoke or have any leaks of any kind. Bought this bike from a friend that had a close call and decided he was done riding. He bought the bike back in 2010 with 25k miles on it and only put about 1200 miles on in last 4 years. This is a nice bike and I wouldn"t hesitate riding it cross country. The reason I'm not keeping it myself is that i drive a truck over the road and just don"t have the time to enjoy it. The bike has 26294 miles on it right now but will go up a little due to the fact I do ride it on the weekends every now and then. I must sell my beloved R1150R ABS due to health reasons. It isn’t often that a R1150R in this condition with this mileage is offered for under $3,500. In fact it isn’t often any BMW is offered at this price that is not held together with duc tape and crazy glue. Butter Cup is yellow with gray graphics (Ferro and Yellow). Runs like a jewel. The bike is in good cosmetic condition, no paint scuffs, scratches, dents. Comes with the following accessories: factory side cases, Sargent full saddle, Kaoko throttle control, Rear rack, Barkbusters Storm hand guards, Dunlops with about 50% left. Now the bad news (all minor and does not effect operation). Minor scuffs on side cases (should buff out). Some rust on bolt heads, rear rack finish rubbed off in spots (purchased used this way), paint blistered on pistons (common on factory power coat). I require a $500.00 non refundable deposit at the close of listing and balance in three days. All payments are to be via Paypal. Buyer is responsible for pick up or delivery.
