I have a very low mileage 1995 BMW R1100RSL for sale. Excellent condition and runs very well. Comes with bags and a Hepco Becker tail rack which will accept HK tail trunks. Also has barbacks, braded steel brake lines, new front and rear brake pads, rebuilt master cylinder, and recent valve adjustment/throttle body sync. It is very rare to find a R1100rs with only 12500 miles! I am asking $3200 obo.

1994 BMW R1100RS. 72.4K miles. Red. Stock BMW side bags. No ABS. Brand new tires (20 miles as I write.) Recent maintenance (at about 70K miles.) 1085 cc's; 90 hp. 5 spd transmission. Improvements/modifications: PIAA driving lights, bar backs, heated grips, headlight modulator, Throttlemeister, Odyssey battery, Russell Day-Long saddle, BMW luggage rack, Cee Bailey tall wind-screen (+ stock), hand protectors, Fiamm dual horns, Eclipse tank bag, knee pads. Comes with: seat rain cover, battery tender, Haynes repair manual, motorcycle cover, luggage straps, original tool kit with a few additions, oil filter wrench. Maintenance Items beyond regular scheduled maintenance: previous owner replaced clutch & rear shock & brake pads. I've replaced Hall effect sensor, front brake pads, front brake master cylinder, front brake light switch, and ignition switch. Also put in a used starter when original one stopped working. Condition: Generally excellent condition, esp. for its age. Paint has a couple of scrapes on fairing edges, couple of rock chips on fender. Some of the aluminum has minor discoloration. Part of exhaust pipes are not bright. Catalytic converter has been removed. Minor scuffs on side cases. I've owned this bike for 10 years; bought it locally from an individual, with 52k miles on it. It's been great, but I'm just not riding it any more. It needs a better life than sitting in my barn. One of the best sport-touring bikes around; can go quickly thru the twisties (great handling and great clearance leaned over), and then take you to the West Coast on the interstates (smooth & comfortable). It's almost 100 pounds lighter than the R1100RT, making it quicker & easier to handle. More oriented to the "Sport" in "Sport Touring" than the RT or the GS. The guy I bought it from told me about what he had done to it, but had no written records. I've done all the maintenance to it myself (as I have to my previous 40+years of motorcycles) and have written records and parts/supplies receipts. Also some relevant articles from old BMWMOA magazines about maintenance, in addition to the Haynes repair manual mentioned above.US Sales Only! Local delivery only, although I will deliver to a reasonably nearby shipper if you arrange all the details and pay for shipping. $500 Paypal deposit within 3 days of purchase, rest in cash upon taking possession. Anything like a cashier's check, bank draft, money order, etc., would need to completely clear my bank before I would turn over the motorcycle. No scammers, no bogus payments, please. This is only the second item I've listed on eBay, so I don't have a long sales record to establish credibility. I will be truthful and easy to work with, if you are the same.

Bike is located in Washington, DC. In good condition, but has its share of battle-scars from being a city bike. Some scratches and paint imperfections (see photos). Far from perfect, but not bad for a 1994 BMW. 45,000 miles. Not going to lie and say "low miles" but it is medium miles for a BMW especially the 1100cc airhead/oilhead design. BMW's are known for having high-mileage capable engines. Definitely an excellent city bike and incredibly stable on the highway. Mechanically in great condition. The dry clutch makes a "marbles in a can noise" when in neutral with the clutch out- similar to what a Ducati sounds like. It's louder than on my friend's R1100, but not as loud as a Ducati, and I have been told by BMW mechanics that it is nothing to be concerned about. Bike comes with a set of heated gloves that plug into the bike's accessory jack, for riding this fall and into the early winter. Great first bike or first BMW!
