For sale - $1500 OBO1999 BMW R1100S with 44.6k miles - GREAT PROJECT / PARTS BikeThis has been an incredible bike, but alas, the motor gave out on me and as much as I'd like to bring it back to open road glory, I have other priorities that need to be tended to. Hopefully my loss is your gain as a terrific project or parts bike!Engine cut out at highway speeds and after a new starter motor and battery, BMW of Manhattan diagnosed it as having issues in the right cylinder (piston stuck in bore, exhaust valves bent, right rod most likely broken off at wrist pin boss). Motor does turn over, but with obvious struggle. Prior to this, all service was up to date and full records available since '09.Otherwise, this bike has a comfy Corbin seat, carbon-fiber accents, cleared lenses, and is the rare Mandarin Orange color. A few scratches as you'd expect with a bike this age, but all from NYC parking mishaps. Bike never went down on the road and I am the second owner of this entirely clean titled bike.Happy to send more pictures or information.
