Ready to part with my 2006 BMW R1200RT. The bike runs great, good paint, has been garaged as long as I've had it, and has less than 28,000 miles. The previous owner bought the heated comfort seat, but never put the switch for the seat on the handlebars. I haven't done it yet either. The heated grips work fantastically, however. This motorcycle has the 49 liter topcase, big enough to hold two helmets, along with both saddlebags. It has cylinder head protectors. I put a brand new, advanced battery in it at the start of summer, and the oil gets changed, at worst, every 2,000 miles (with filter). Last spring the 24,000 service was completed as well as having the rear strut rebuilt. I will also let most of my gear go, along with the motorcycle dolly I bought a little over a year ago to move it around the garage more easily. Price negotiable.

Beautiful bike in nearly perfect condition. Givi top case with backrest. Fast and smooth, great sound and feel. Large panniers as well so plenty of room for helmets, jacket and briefcase. Sorry, only the last photo is recent enough to show the Givi backrest, it's freshly installed and a great help to my passengers.

2011 Bmw R 1200 RT, CAM HEAD RT NICLY EQUIPPED - Endless Riding Pleasure. The R 1200 RT. As far as two-cylinder fans are concerned, first-class touring has a memorable abbreviation - and it?s been around for 30 years: RT. For long-haul travelers there can hardly be any other term which has always stood for perfectly conceived motorcycling concept from start to finish; excellent wind and weather protection, optimum ergonomics, highly convenient operation combined with a top-class chassis fitted with the unique optional extras ASC and ESA II*. In the touring segment, these features probably define the ultimate benchmark of innovation. Even though the R 1200 RT cuts a superb figure everywhere with its dynamic new design, everything about it sends out the message; built to cover thousands of miles, preferably in one go.
