Favored by police departments around the world, the RT is lighter and more nimble than most of its competitors but doesn’t give up any of the heavy-duty performance you’d expect from BMW. With a fully adjustable windshield and a fairing that stabs through the air, the R 1150 RT is the popular evolution of the 1978 R 100 RT. The air-management system can be adjusted to blow hot air onto your hands during a cold ride or to blast you with cool air on hot summer days. The controls are placed conveniently and adjustable to fit your hands. And for those much-anticipated long journeys there’s even a power accessory plug.

2004 R1150RT in great condition. Well maintained. Low 30,000 miles. Always garaged. Outfitted with Garmin GPS, BMW saddle bags, auxiliary lighting front and rear. I also have the BMW repair manual, all 400 or so pages of it. Wiring for heated clothing and GPS earphones also in place. Photos say it all.

2002 BMW R 1150 RT, 02 R1150 RT 90k used this as a daily driver to and from work an hour. runs well many new parts but needs transmission seal replaced. has side panniers but no top trunk. has audio package with sat. capability. 2003 BMW R1150RT, A well maintained oil head R 1150 RT. This example is in good mechanical condition. There are some abrasions on the panniers and light scratches on the mirrors, but overall cosmetically presents itself well.
