This is a one-owner 1150GS Adventure we sold new and it now has 72,656 miles! The factory build onthis machine consists of:Enduro transmissionHeated gripsExtra fuel tank capacityEngine protection barsIntegral ABSRider information displayThe previous owner rode everywhere (almost literally) and in all types of weather. The black plastic components and other areas of the bike show the signs of use after 70,000 miles but that is OK with us. This generation is highly desirable as it is the last of the 1150GS Adventures' (except for super-rare Final Edition models) with the twin-spark motor and it is non-CANBUS. This one will need a little work to pass inspection and could use a dose of fresh fluids everywhere. Our safety inspection revealed it needs a rear rotor, rear brake pads and the rear shock is sweating a little bit. There are no signs of damage or major leaks in the motor or final drive. This beast appears to be solid with only minor work to bring it current. Due to the age and over all condition of the bike we will not be servicing it; we did however clear three open campaigns. This bike has been serviced with us over the years; the notable service was the 48,000 mile service, replacement of front and rear brake pads and brake flush we did this past August 2016. See our service report for the list of items replaced or adjusted during this service. We completed a safety inspection after taking it in and it will need a front tire to pass a state inspection. The technician also noted the heated grips are working but the grip material is worn through a considerable amount. Due to the age of the bike we will be selling this bike as-is. The bike will need to be taken away on a trailer or delivered to you unless the front tire is replaced. This is a super-clean R1150R in a non-ABS build. The other factory options consist of:Heated gripsLow black seatA previous owner added the BMW touring windscreen, Givi topcase and PIAA auxiliary driving lights and all owner's have done a remarkable job in keeping this bike in top shape cosmetically and mechanically. We have service history dating back to March 2007 when we completed a 12,000 mile service. Since then we have replaced a number of tires, brake pads and performed the scheduled services; the most recent in September 2016 where we updated the bike with a new alternator belt, air filter, spark plugs, fuel filter and adjusted the valves. Fresh fluid in the motor and gearbox. The technician who serviced this bike also checked for play in the final drive and swingarm and did not find any issues. If you looked at this bike you would not believe it has traveled the miles it has. It is one of the cleanest bikes we have seen from this era in quite some time. If you are looking for a well-kept and non-ABS R1150R this one may be the nicest on the market. 2004 R1150R Non-ABS Model. This bike is in great shape with 44,664 miles. I purchased the bike in 2009 from the dealer in Merrimack at 35,958 miles. It has been a reliable bike and is a pleasure on long rides. It gets about 40MPG on the highway. It is the newer twin-spark engine which runs smoother than the earlier single spark bikes. Condition wise, there are normal stone chips and there is a crack in the right side plastic trim under the seat. Features/Add Ons Handlebar risers (Moved them up and back about 40mm) Heated Grips (OEM) Cee Bailey's custom tall windscreen with X-Screen spoiler - it is reasonably quiet on the highway. BMW Hard Luggage - New in 2009 when I bought the bike. Tall saddle - I have the original low saddle as well. I'm 5-10 and the tall saddle is perfect for me. Quick Release tank bag - no straps! mounts to the gas cap. Service History: New Starter ~2 years ago New Odyssey battery in 2011 - Special Odyssey charger included. New Metzeller Roadtec Z6 tires in 2011 (probably 2k miles on them if that) Rear Bevel gear assembly rebuilt in 2011 by Bruno's machine service in Ontario. I had this done to address chronic gear oil leaks - I guess these bikes are notorious for this due to incorrect assembly when new. Bruno fixed it right - no more leaks!

For sale is my 2005 BMW 1150GS adventure (GSA) in Platinum Silver. I have enjoyed this bike for the last eight years, but with a few kids and no time, she sits on the battery tender. Only 20k miles and in really great mechanical shape. What service I haven't done in my personal shop has been done by Max BMW in NH. Bike comes with: - Brand new TKC-80 on the rear (front in great shape) - Original BMW aluminum luggage - Lowered Corbin heated seat - Heated grips - Ram mounted Garmin Zumo GPS - Kaisan signal minders (Keeps turn signals lit for safety, cancels them automatically) - Giant PIAA external lights - Fastway billet foot rests - Tank Bag - Various GoPro attachment points In great mechanical and cosmetic shape except for one dent and scrape on the right of the tank which was caused by me trying to put it on the centerstand fully loaded after 14 hours of driving. (I left it to remind me not to be ******). Outside of that it is ready to drive across country. This is the best bike I have ever owned but it deserves to be ridden more frequently.
