12,340 miles from new, or as most BMW fans will say, "barely even broken in". Bike is ABS equipped and has onboard computer for fuel economy and trip metrics as well. Has $1500 BMW side cases included with sale though not pictured and also comes with the $1500 exhaust as seen in the pictures. Runs perfect, starts instantly and has no real signs of wear. Like ALL horizontally opposed piston engines if parked with a hot motor on sidestand there will be a tiny puff of oil smoke on startup, this is common to everything from Ferrari Testarossa Flat 12 cylinders to Lycoming aviation motors to BMW twins, smoke disappears almost immediately after startup, to avoid always park on center stand when coming home from a long ride. Bike starts and runs perfectly, oil is clean and filter recent, tires are in great shape, all this bike really needs is a happy new home. The perfect two wheeled choice to go out on long rides to forget the problems in your head or in the world.

Compact, tight, muscular - the bike's new design sets it clearly apart from its predecessor. The upside down telescopic fork based on the S 1000 RR not only gives this powerhouse a striking appearance but also ensures stability and precise handling. With the sharply drawn lines along the fuel tank and the seamless transition across the seat to the rear, this roadster has a look that perfectly matches the way it rides. Individual style. For the first time, the new R 1200 R is available not just in the basic paint finish but also in two additional styles, so as to ensure the design does even more justice to riders' individual preferences: in classic, timeless Cordoba Blue or in athletic Light White with engine spoiler in body color and frame in striking Racing Red or stylish and exclusive Thunder Grey Metallic with a golden fork (only available with the option Dynamic ESA).
