With a fully adjustable windshield and a fairing that stabs through the air, the R 1150 RT is the popular evolution of the 1978 R 100 RT. The air-management system can be adjusted to blow hot air onto your hands during a cold ride or to blast you with cool air on hot summer days. The controls are placed conveniently and adjustable to fit your hands. And for those much-anticipated long journeys there’s even a power accessory plug.

This is a non-ABS model for individuals who prefer less technology. After taking it in we completed a safety inspection, changed the oil and filter and replaced a throttle switch to get the bike running. The front tire has 3/32 of tread with the rear at 4/32. Front brake pads are at 4mm and the rears at 3mm. Due to the age and overall condition of the bike we are selling it as-is. Our safety inspection did not reveal any major issues with the bike and this would be a nice BMW to ride and enjoy for short money. 2004 R1150RT in great condition. Well maintained. Low 30,000 miles. Always garaged. Outfitted with Garmin GPS, BMW saddle bags, auxiliary lighting front and rear. I also have the BMW repair manual, all 400 or so pages of it. Wiring for heated clothing and GPS earphones also in place. Photos say it all.

Nice shape and well running 2004 R1150GS. Bike is clean overall but has a large dent on the right side of the gas tank, hard to capture in pictures. There is also a small dimple in the left side of the gas tank. Otherwise it is a clean looking bike and presents well. There is slight valve noise present as well as some play in the rear drive/main bearing.
