1996 BMW R1100RT  30,925 mIles $4,250.00 ABS Breaks, New Battery, Tires (with less than 1000 miles on them), Electric windshield, Heated Hand Grips, Throttlemeister Cruse Control, Custom Seats by Corbin, Saddle Bags, Trunk,  Saddle bag and trunk liners, Tank Bag with expansion and rain cover, PIAA Driving Lights, Battery Tender, Original Radio and speakers Never dropped or laid down  The R1100RT handles like a sport bike, aided as they are by the unique telelever front suspension and paralever rear. With the telelever front end, you can brake as hard as you want, and an RT will not dive.  It has ABS (anti-lock braking system) for added safety in foul weather or panic situations. It has fuel injection, four-valve heads, and puts out 90 horsepower. It has a windshield that is electrically adjustable for height with the push of your left thumb. It has standard waterproof saddlebags and a top case for great luggage capacity. And the whole package is just plain beautiful. (In my opinion no other motorcycle can rival the R1100RT for its sheer beauty) The R1100RT has received numerous awards from motorcycle magazines. Cycle World selected the RT as the Best Liter-Class Sport-Tourer in 1998, 1997, and the year it was introduced, 1996. Rider Magazine chose the RT as the Top Liter-Class Sport-Tourer in 1999, 1998, 1997, and 1996. In 1996 the Robb Report named the RT as one of the world's eight best motorcycles. In 2000—somewhat surprisingly— Motorcyclist Magazine Named the RT the Best Tourer.

I have to make room for other recreational vehicles. Love this bike but will be keeping the GS instead. Puts a smile on your face every time you get on.Full tune up last March, less than 2000 miles ago. In addition to the full tune up(all the fluids, plugs, air and fuel filter, sync throttle bodies, valve adjust): New tires, new battery, new drive shaft, New brakes and rebuilt master cylinder, Sergent custom seats,(OH so comfortable)(you get the original seats as well that are in excellent condition), extra windscreen but this one is in very good condition, electric shield adjustor works like it should, heated grips, Moto Lights!! (see pics, these are a $450 value) Hyper Lites in the rear when braking, headlight protector, friction throttle control to give your right hand a break on long rides, side bags and top case all with the same key, shelf for GPS or whatever (radar detector if you like riding fast, this bike will do it with ease), tie downs on top of the side cases. 73,450 miles and runs like new.Fly in, I'll pick you up at the airport and ride home. Got questions? Just ask. I am the second owner.

We have had many pleasurable trips on this awesome bike. She comes fully equipped with custom seats by Steve Gowing, BMW top and side cases painted to match the bike with Kathy's Journey Design liners and an integrated Power Commander System. Also has a custom Remus exhaust. Tires are in good shape and have at least one more season on them. At 46K miles she runs like a champ. We have never had a wobble and has never been downed. We have all maintenance records as well as the manual for the Power Commander and a Chilton manual for the bike. We just upgraded to a BMW K bike and have no room to keep her.The only item in need of attention is a right side view mirror that needs painted. We would consider a trade for a mid size truck such as a Ranger or Sonoma of equal value and condition
