I’m the second owner and have owned the bike since 2000. The bike has been in one accident in 2005. Everything was assessed by Marin BMW and all damaged parts replaced. I have the full records.Overall the bike has been very reliable, taking me through the Feather River canyon and to Death Valley on many occasions. It’s a nice mixture of a classic BMW engine and relatively more modern brakes and suspension. I have some hard shell cases and a tank bag included along with a Corbin seat. The bike needs a new owner with more time than I currently have to enjoy it and provide a little tlc.More info-Transmission was rebuilt by Recommended Service in 2012 and I’ve only put a couple hundred miles on it since-I replaced the timing advance unit around the same time-The heads have dual spark plugs using a Dyna ignition booster-Engine was overhauled by San Jose BMW with head reconditioning, new pistons (higher compression), valves, and higher performance camshaft-Much of the electrical systems has been renewed including the diode board and alternator-The Muffler is a non-stock Remus-The crash guards and side stand are missing, I bought the bike this way and only use the center stand-The disk brakes have been recently renewed with new seals, pistons, master cylinder, pads and a stainless brake line-The rotors rattle a lot, this is considered “normal” but they need to be replaced for it to quiet down. It’s very un-BMW sounding on Oakland’s busted roads-The spoke wheels could probably use a rebuild/true from someplace like Buchanan Spoke and RimThe bike probably needs a tune up and carb sync / idle adjustment as I have not ridden it in a long time.More photos @ https://jonathont.me/2016/08/22/r100r/

1994 BMW R 100 R, Last of the Airheads!!! This beautiful motorcycle was only made for only 3 years from 1993-1995 approx. 3700 produced. I have seen very few Mystics sold over the past few years and this one has the fewest miles I've seen at less than 18,500! The engine is a "Boxer" dual airhead Four-stroke two cylinder horizontally opposed which is air cooled. Makes for an exhilarating ride with plenty of power. It's been the most fun bike I've ever owned. It's also a great bike for shorter riders, I'm 5'7" and feel very comfortable especially with the custom seats. One of the more stunning bikes on the road, it's always generated a lot of looks and is very comfortable for the long ride or even 2 up. I will be holding viewing in Medical Lake, Washington Saturday June 13th and Sunday June 14th only. I've put a very fair offer out and am not looking to short sell by any means. I'm selling because I have a few motorcycles and want to pair down and get a new motorcycle... I can't help it, I always want another motorcycle... it's a problem! Please e-mail, call or text if you have questions or would like to set up a time to ride. Verified cashiers check or verified bank wire only. Matt 707-246-6011 $4,999.00 7072466011
