UPDATE: I have the original R90S fairing, unpainted, and it is included with this listing. Restored into a custom Café Racer this 1975 BMW R90/6 is in perfect condition. If you are into Café Racers, this bike gets compliments everywhere it goes. It's painted with official BMW Mother of Pearl White Metallic, and the frame was powder coated Metallic Candy Apple Red plus a layer of clear to protect it. Full disclosure: 1) The bike has the special R90S badges on it, but it's really a /6. I won't tell anyone. :o) 2) This was a "barn find" when I acquired it. It is a salvage title, but it has been completely torn down to the crank shaft and rebuilt. Wheels were re-laced with new spokes, fuel tank re-lined, electrical system completely replaced, custom Motogadget Tach/Speedo, rear hyperlights, LED turn signals, carbs/forks rebuilt, and the list goes on... 3) All the work was done by BMW mechanics certified in Airheads with decades of experience, and an occasional phone call to the engineers in Germany to get the latest info to ensure top performance. The custom pipes on it make it sound much better than your typical Beemer. Rebuilding this bike was a passion of mine which took more than two years, and far much more money was put into it than what I'm asking to sell it.
