2006 BMW R1200RT, Ready to Ride??? The BMW R1200RT is a Sport touring motorcycle like no other. It features a 1,200 cc (71 cu in) flat-twin engine producing 110 bhp at 7500 rpm and 85 foot-pounds of torque at 6000 rpm and a six-speed gearbox and shaft drive. Cruise control, heated hand grips, and Paralever and Telelever suspensions were standard.The standard electrically operated windscreen can be adjusted across a large range of heights. Standard ABS brakes, servo-powered. They are partially integrated such that the rear brake pedal only applies the rear brake while the front brake lever applies both brakes.This is a clean bike!!! 1977 BMW R/100/7, Here is a bike that we don't see very often. 1977 BMW R/100/7. This one was looks like it is fresh out of Granddads shed. The gas tank has been repainted a solid black. The seat could use a recover job, I do believe that it is the stock 1977 cover that is on it now. It has an aftermarket Luftmeister fairing on it. it starts, and runs very well. We did service it in our shop. The fuel valves have been replaced with new ones. The old ones were leaking. At some time in it's life, someone added the BMW accessory clock, and volt meter to the gauge cluster. Nice touch. The tach needle is not on the center of the gauge, I have been told that this is common on these older bikes. For it's age, it is a nice older bike, not perfect, but not bad ether. 2003 BMW R1200CL, What's this? A BMW with floorboards and a heel/toe shifter? That is not the Norm. for BMW. Well, not entirely. 2004 BMW R 1150 RT, Only 4000 miles on this one!!!The 2004 R1150RT is the last of the progression of the oilhead tourers. With the dual spark it runs smooth and gets great mileage. It has a great suspension system. The power, ABS brakes have such a nice feel, they stop right now. Carrying capacity is good too. Most important of all, it's one of the best looking BMW's ever. It's a modern sculpture to my eye. This one has a "Sargent" aftermarket seat on it. I think that the R1150RT is the ultimate BMW touring machine; that it has the coolest lines, advanced electronics, good wind protection, has fabulous reviews, and, is loved by all of her owners, including the owner of this one, who is also the owner of the shop. 2000 BMW R1100RT, The 2000 BMW R1100RT is aimed squarely at the long distance motorcyclist. BMW's reputation for reliability and comfort has long seduced the touring motorcyclist. The ergonomics of it allow you to spend longer on the road before your body demands a roadside stop. The upright riding position is good for the arms and the back, and the saddle adjusts through three heights, making it perfect for the long, or short, legged rider. Why can't other bikes do that? This bike is quipped with the large capicaty bags, trunk bag, power windshield, headlight cover, and telaleaver front end. This is not perfect, but not bad ether. Please look at the pictures, I have shown some paint imperfections. It runs and rides great!!
