This 2015 R 1200 RT was a perfect transition from my 09 K 1200 LT. In addition to being hundreds of pounds lighter than the K 1200, it has been a very comfortable bike and lots of fun to ride. The menu of technical items and the performance options that can be checked/changed (as you ride and as the riding conditions change) make this a great motorcycle for both day runs or the extended cross-country tour. The side cases are quickly removed and, with practice, the top case may be removed in minutes. 18,000 miles with all recommended service performed by local BMW dealer. 2013 BMW F 800 GS, 2013 BMW F 800 GS F 800 GS: on and off-road have never been so close together. Challenges? Yes! Compromises? No! This is the motto of the revised F 800 GS - the sportiest member of the big GS family. The motorcycle continues its longstanding success story, providing impressive versatility both on and off the road: the ultimate versatile enduro machine with sporty genes. The front section of the body in particular has undergone significant transformation: the new fuel tank trim, intake snorkel, upper mudguard and a new windshield give the bike that extra dash of dynamic performance, reflecting the off-road side of the F 800 GS. Lowering is now available as an option for the F 800 GS, too. So in conjunction with the low seat, this means it is possible to create a seat height of 32.3 inches. Meanwhile, ABS as standard, ESA (Electronic Suspension Adjustment) and the optional ASC (traction control) ensure the familiar degree of comfort and the necessary safety. The F 800 GS comes in three exciting colour variants: Kalamata metallic, Alpine White 3 und Cordoba Blue. From tough and modern to athletic and dynamic - this bike is guaranteed to offer something for everyone.

2016 BMW S 1000 RR Premium Light White / Lupin Blue Metallic / Racing Red, 2016 BMW S 1000 RR Premium Light White / Lupin Blue Metallic / Racing Red Welcome to the new Planet Power. The S 1000 RR revolutionized the supersports class when it first came out in 2009. Now it steps up to the very same challenge. The current S 1000 RR model has been completely revised: BMW Motorrad engineers have entirely revised the bike's technology, design and fittings. The result: in its origins a genuine Double R, on the road a new supersports machine. A facelift is not enough. The RR is the epitome of a superbike - and that applies to its design, too. Now in its third generation, you can instantly see its increased power. The profile is razor-sharp and extremely clear, the volume of the contours and shapes perfectly balanced. From the rear to the front section, every trim component has been redesigned - including the headlamp element, where the symmetry has been given greater emphasis. Increased output, reduced weight. The new S 1000 RR has an output of 199 hp - 6 hp more than its predecessor. But it is not just its higher rated output that makes the Double R faster and more agile. Weighing in at 450 lbs incl. ABS and traction control, it is some 8.8 lbs lighter than the previous version. Furthermore, it has a newly designed exhaust system as well as a new engine set-up for increased torque, an improved output curve and many other optimized details. Consistently revised down to the last detail. In addition to major changes to design and performance, it is primarily the technical details which allow the S 1000 RR to take such a quantum leap forward. The electronic suspension components DDC and DTC have been given a new set-up, as has the entire suspension. This ensures greatly improved traction as well as better feedback to the rider. Optimized riding is enabled by such features as the Shift Assistant Pro (shifting up and down without clutch) and the e-gas throttle actuator for more precise and direct control. The rider operates these new features via the newly designed instrument panel which can be adapted to the specific type of use. All in all: a new S 1000 RR. In taking the S 1000 RR a step further for model year 2015, absolutely every component was re-assessed. The result is a superbike what will once again set the benchmark in its class - in other words a genuine Double R. Features may include: DTC (Dynamic Traction Control) The BMW DTC (Dynamic Traction Control) system continuosly monitor rear wheel traction under acceleration. If a loss of traction is detected, the system intervenes to control unwanted rear wheel spin. The DTC system is unique since it incorporates information from a lean angle sensor to optimize the system's performance, especially when the motorcycle is banked into a turn Gea
I have to make room for other recreational vehicles. Love this bike but will be keeping the GS instead. Puts a smile on your face every time you get on.Full tune up last March, less than 2000 miles ago. In addition to the full tune up(all the fluids, plugs, air and fuel filter, sync throttle bodies, valve adjust): New tires, new battery, new drive shaft, New brakes and rebuilt master cylinder, Sergent custom seats,(OH so comfortable)(you get the original seats as well that are in excellent condition), extra windscreen but this one is in very good condition, electric shield adjustor works like it should, heated grips, Moto Lights!! (see pics, these are a $450 value) Hyper Lites in the rear when braking, headlight protector, friction throttle control to give your right hand a break on long rides, side bags and top case all with the same key, shelf for GPS or whatever (radar detector if you like riding fast, this bike will do it with ease), tie downs on top of the side cases. 73,450 miles and runs like new.Fly in, I'll pick you up at the airport and ride home. Got questions? Just ask. I am the second owner.
