2011 BMW K 1300 S, I bought this K1300S new. It was the first brand new bike I have ever owned. I have treasured it as a result. The bike is a impressive blend of sporty performance, sophisticated technology and creature comforts. The sporty characteristics show when running through the Tail of the Dragon (see attached picture). The sophisticated technology and creature comforts helped me ride 1,054 miles in 21 hours to qualify for my Iron Butt certificate. I'm a 55 year old certified (auto) mechanic. I have meticulously maintained the bike. Its never been abused. Its never been crashed. It has all the available options: Traction Control : Anti-Lock Brakes : Electronic Suspension Control : Automatic Shift Assist : Heated grips : Tire Pressure Monitoring System : Trip Computer with MPG, range to empty, average speed, and ambient temperature. The only modification is a BMW luggage grid behind the rear seat. Otherwise, It is stock. The bike is in perfect condition. It has performed flawlessly. It just returned from the dealer to ensure all service and warranty work is completely up to date before being sold. The brake fluid, engine oil, and final drive oil are now freshly changed. So its completely up to date on scheduled servicing. It now has also had all the recall work (switch gear and fuel valve) and service campaign work (timing chain guide). I also just mounted a new front Michelin Road Pilot 4. The rear Road Pilot 4 was mounted last year, and still has about 70% of its tread. As I get older, my riding style is evolving. I just bought an ADV bike. So, this K bike no longer matches my riding style. I have many more photos which I can send upon request. I'm located in Pennsylvania.
