1988 BMW K75s with 41,000 miles Not your average Honda or Yamaha. Almost zero maintenance. No carbs to adjust-its fuel injected. No messy chain-its shaft drive. Unlike your the average hacked jap bike out there this is BMW quality. Rare K75s in excellent running and riding condition. Own a cool classic cafe bike with BMW reliability. Current registration and salvage title due to the fairing/windscreen being damaged. The original dash pod is damaged on the tach side. Speedo and all lights work fine. I left it on for getting through registration and have a smaller more compact unit on order. You can take it with this or ill install a newer smaller speedo if you like. Recent work/service include: -New tires front and rear (10mi) -Oil and filter changed (800 mi) -Brake fluid flush (front and rear) -Cranckcase breather hose\ -All new fuel lines -New fuel filter and hoses in tank -Air filter (800 mi) -brake pads (75%) -New clubman handlebars -New pro-grip grips Extras include: -Works performance rear shock -Works performance fork springs -Corbin Gunfighter seat -R/80 hand guards -BMW system cases and mount available -Rare engine spoiler Excellent mechanical and running condition ready for summer. great project or ride as is. Hello and thanks for looking at my ad. Reluctantly, my amazing K1600GTL is up for sale. I bought this to do a big trip across the USA and Canada this summer, but work and other circumstances meant I had to abandon that plan. I've recently returned from a 10-day trip around the north west of the US, where the bike showed just what an incredible machine it is. It will cruise endlessly on the freeway and you'll still get off fresh as a daisy, or it'll put a MASSIVE grin on your face in the twisty stuff in the mountains. But now, even though I LOVE this bike like I've never loved a bike before, I have to sell it. Still, my loss is your gain. It is in incredible condition - I can't say "mint" because it's not brand new, but it is pretty sensational. It has just 7734 miles on it - it's not even fully run-in yet and the stunning engine just got smoother and smoother and better and better during my trip. It's in the beautiful Mineral Silver Metallic color and has a new rear tire, fitted 10/17/2014. Local pickup or buyer arranges and pays for Shipping after payment is received. The bike is available for inspection in Los Angeles BEFORE making an offer / buying.
