2009 K1300 S. 33,270 miles. We moved to the Olympic Peninsula last year and try as I might this is not the bike for the local roads. I'll miss this bike, but no regrets. Wilber shocks were installed in June; the bike does not have ESA. It has Shad 43 liter saddlebags with SW Motec bag mounts. The mounts attach with quarter-turn fasteners, so they come off in just a couple of minutes. The Shad bags are waterproof, unlike what BMW sells for this bike. With a HID headlight bulb and a pair of PIAA 1100x lights on the forks nighttime never looked so good. There is an MRA windshield installed, and the stock shield will be included. It’s up to date on all services and recalls. Transferable extended warranty expires February 2, 2017.Bike has no problems, everything works. The paint is about a 8 out of 10, there are some scratches. I installed 3M paint protection the day I bought the bike. It has kept the plastic headlight and the sides of the tank where my knees rub damage free. This is not a duplicate ad. The other bike that looks like this belongs to my better half.

This is a sport touring bike with the emphasis on sport. Fast but comfortable, it crosses state lines with ease. One owner since new, and cared for as if it would stay with me forever. Unfortunately, since leaving So Cal and moving to the Pacific Northwest, I’m finding the hills and valleys are suited to a lighter bike, and this one’s for sale. The bike came with BMW’s shift assist, ABS, and has BMW saddlebags and mounts. BMW replaced the short block under warranty at 20k miles, and there have been no problems since then. Current mileage is 39022, and the 36k service was done in May. At the same time new Wilbers shocks were installed, the bike doesn’t have ESA. There’s a transferable extended warranty with a $25 deductible until 2-17. Paint protection film was installed when the bike was new. Tires are Michelin Pilot Road 4s and have plenty of tread left. There are fork-mounted Martin Fabrication driving lights, and a Shad luggage rack/topcase mount. I added a Verholen brake pedal enlarger, which can be easily removed, and a Bags Connection EVO Quick-Lock tank ring, City tankbag (faded, but functional) with a GPS/PDA/RAM gadget holder bracket. The seat was reshaped slightly to be level and add a bit more room for the rider to slide back, and has a custom cover. There’s an extra Zero Gravity Sport Touring windscreen. Title is in hand and the bike is ready for its next owner. This isn’t a duplicate ad, the near identical ’09 K13S listed on CycleTrader belongs to my better half.
