1999 BMW K1200RS! THE ORIGINAL Sport Tourer!AKA ICBM! AKA FLYING BRICK!YELLOW BEAST!Pros:Oil changed every month with LUCAS 10w-40 MOTORCYCLE OIL every month during seasonal commute.All fluids checked and topped off regularly. Garage kept.Battery 1 year old kept on trickle chargerFunctioning ABSFoot peg lowering kit.Bar risers Extra windshieldBMW hard bags "panniers"Full Remus exhaust and remapping. Newer Bridgestone Battalax tires bought at the end of last riding season.145 hp smooth linear power. 80-120 mph in a flick of the wrist.Steady as a rock at speed.Very nimble for a 600 lb motorcycle.During the last 2 years this motorcycle has proven it's reliability, safety economy and prowess on my 100 mile a day commute. Cons:Purchased from an auction dealer with salvaged title in May 2014 with 54K miles. Damage sustained from low speed drop.Left side fairing still shows signs from drop.Heated grips work but fuse blows.Left side pannier is missing keyed lock tumbler. Seat has a few cracks but they have been mitigated with vinyl repair.Accepting well informed offers. Low ballers will be ignored.M1 and cash in hand gets a test ride.Will consider trades of equal value.
