FOR SALE BY PRIVATE OWNER: 2005 K1200LT, MILEAGE: 52,501 Priorities have changed and it is time to sell my Beemer. I am the second owner of this 2005 K1200LT. I bought it from my father a year ago who was the original buyer in 2005. I have ridden BMW’s since I got my first 1973 R75/5 for my 16th Birthday. The “K” series bikes are incredibly smooth and are equipped with state of the art German technology. This 2005 has a custom seat you can see in the photos. It also has custom pin striping. Olins competition shocks have been installed on the front Telelever and the rear Paralever. These shocks offer an amazing upgrade to the ride and the rear shock is adjustable to the rider’s weight or load. Reverse gear is offered on this bike and helps out when you have a passenger or are loaded for a long tour. 2005 is the first year that BMW offered the hydraulic centerstand. Talk about a back saver, push the button and up you go. Both rider and passenger seats are heated with two temperature settings. The passenger back rest is also heated. I have added an electrical outlet for heated riding gear you can see in the photos. The rider’s grips are heated as well. Moto Lights have been added to the front forks for excellent vision in low light and dark conditions. Meltzer’s on front and back are in great shape and offer incredible wet weather traction. The windscreen adjusts up and down to suit your height. The bike is equipped with touring pegs that swing out of sight when not being used. A six CD player is located in the RH side case, AM,FM and satellite radio are also included. The bike has an intercom system for communication and listening to your favorite entertainment. BMW navigation (GPS) is included. Also included are BMW leather side case and top box liners. These are great, you load the liners and put them in the cases and when you get to your destination you just open the cases and carry them in to wherever you are staying like luggage.

This Bike has been serviced and garage kept. I am selling my awesome 2006 K1200 GT due to the after effects of surgery. I only has 26k miles and has a brand new $4000 factory transmission shipped from Germany by BMW, Ducati, Husqvarna of Atlanta. Still has remainder of 2 year factory warranty on transmission. Bike has newer tires, battery and brakes. Fresh oil, needs nothing mechanically! Comes with a cover, center stand and full luggage, including the largest BMW factory top case.Includes ABS, electronic suspension adjustment, electronic windshield adjustment, heated grips and seats. The heated drivers seat doesn't work currently. I may fix that. Everything else works flawlessly.The price is low because I dropped it in my driveway and sideswiped a stationary car. There are scrapes and scratches on the fairing and saddlebags. Comparable bikes go for over $7k locally. You can fix it and have a perfect bike or pocket the savings and just ride (the bike is a beast)!This is a unique opportunity to get a mechanically perfect low miles GT at a great price!
