The engine is stock and is trouble-free. What's wrong? A small hairline scratch (1") on one mirror and scuffing on the 3M protective film on the tank (remove/replace it and have a brand new tank!). Even in the standard version, the BMW K 1300 S leaves nothing to be desired when it comes to performance. Can it be taken any further? It certainly can: even at first glance the K 1300 SS "Motorsport" special model looks like an athlete raring to go. In the paint finish Black Storm metallic and Light White non-metallic with the accentuation colour Lupin Blue metallic it instantly conveys the character of a power bike. And the "Motorsport" special model has a whole lot to offer in terms of detail, too: the HP footrest system gives the rider individual setting options and is extra narrow for greater banking freedom.
